Super busy tills ("registers" in American) with a deep queue ("line") on the ground floor. Downstairs you'll find more tables as well as the loos ("bathrooms"). Strangely, a television too. Weird. Free wi-fi. No power outlets, which I think is intentional. My double-cheeseburger had ketchup, mustard, pickles and diced onions. The staff is helpful and sweet, and unless you really push your imagination as to what extras you get in your bun, the price is good too. The reasons I knocked two stars off; you get unreasonably charged for mayo (although ketchup and mustard are free) and number of yummy mummies who are unable to control unreasonably noisy kids.

The wild boar burger was more expensive and nothing special. The milkshakes are huge - certainly big enough for two people! Strawberry was nice - they even had Oreo flavour on the menu. Good for an informal and casual dining experience. Lovely and friendly staff at this branch too.

Ok so this is just a McDonald's BUT I really like it. Here is why:…read more 1) Very clean and updated. 2) The staff is awesome. They are nice, efficient, accommodating, and kind. One of my kids hates egg yokes, I asked the staff if they could make the egg and cheese McMuffin with just the egg white (this is a standard option in Canada and the US but on the menu in the UK). The lady said that no one had asked before but she went to check if they could do it, and they did. I was very grateful. The other really cool thing that happened was that my 4 year old dropped his hash brown. No biggie, I gave him mine. About a minute later one of the staff came up and said she noticed he dropped his and brought him a new one. So unexpected and nice. 3) The atmosphere is very chill. The music is relaxing and people actually come here to grab a coffee and do some work.

Since my kids were really hungry, I went ahead and agreed, which I shouldn't have. The chips came out of a package and chicken wasn't crispy but extra salty. Let's just say they would not eat it and after tasting it I can understand why. Perhaps I need to try something else on the menu? I'm not quite sure I want to waste £2.49 here.
