They tasted super fresh, full of flavor and their juicy goodness dripped down our fingers as we bit into them. They were filing, but not over the top. We were full but wanted another one because they were just so good. Additionally, the space was cozy, nice benches along the walls with little pillows. we came here for dinner. Had great service and even enjoyed some excellent craft beers from their bottle selection. The fries were perfectly crunchy and served with ketchup & aioli. And wow, their burgers were delicious!!! The meat was perfectly seasoned. A little undercooked but they kindly cooked it medium for us. The bun was very fluffy and the toppings were incredible. We got our burgers with bacon, caramelized onions, chives, and burger sauce. SO good and so filling! Last, we had their homemade frozen yogurt which was amazing! Highly recommend trying it. Will definitely come back here next time we are in Bordeaux. We wandered by West Coast, and saw that it was packed with a bunch of local twentysomethings. It was loud and bustling, so we decided to grab a bite. The tables are super crammed together, as they are in most restaurants in France. It's weird for Americans, so prepare to get cozy with others. This is definitely a local place. The decor is simple but fun, it reminded me of a casual beach shack at a Southern California beach. There's a surfing theme, which was a nice little reminder of home. The menu features gourmet cheeseburgers and fries. They're "French-ified," which is so cool! No boring ingredients, only the finest chef-driven and inspired burgers. My burger, for example, had fresh pesto and brie cheese. The beef was extremely high quality and perfectly prepared, and the bun tasted freshly baked. The fries were fantastic, those double-battered and double-fried true "French fries." The prices are a little high, and the dining room crowded, but this is a fantastic place to get a tasty cheeseburger if you're fatigued of traditional French cuisine.

We were not disappointed the feel of the restaurant is very casual think diner. The service was friendly. The Burger well it was one of the best i had outside of London, great bun to meat ratio i took the plain beefburger while the other half indulged in a cheeseburger with the option to choose from the list of french cheeses avalible. The fries were crispy and home-made non of that freezer stuff here. Needless to say this is a must visit place if you happen to find yourself in Bordeaux.

I know, I know: an American reviewing a McDonald's in France. But hear me out. We were driving…read morethrough the Bordeaux countryside on a Sunday afternoon, when all restaurants in the smaller villages shut down. We couldn't find so much as a market open, so we were relieved to see this McDonald's was open for business. It wasn't crowded, but they were serving food! Big fast food chains like this have better food quality than in the U.S. I'm serious - a cheeseburger tastes so much better in France than back home. Check out their local menus too, and order something different. We selected the Chicken Bacon Onion sandwich, Brie Burger, fries, and two sodas to share. Prices are very high, and there are no bargains or values to be had. The sodas are especially expensive, and they don't come with ice. We had a mishap where our credit card was charged twice by the ordering kiosk machines, so make sure you keep your receipt and stay on top of any fishy charges. Ordering is very easy, this location uses the self-service machines and they have about half a dozen language options (so you can select English). You don't have to stress about the language barrier (except for when they call your number; luckily we were one of three parties in the entire place). Our food was fresh and good, and I got a kick out of the special French condiments like mayo for my fries and packets of Dijon mustard. The restaurant was very clean, and the restrooms were free to use. I have no complaints, an I'm so thankful McDonald's saved the day as far as food was concerned (lesson learned - never drive through the small villages of the Bordeaux region on a Sunday without a picnic in the trunk)!
