    I requested (and was approved for) a fire only policy via the FAIR Plan. I dealt with Earnestine…read morewho was wonderful but the organization of the office is horrific. I received an email that my plan was approved but when I called the office, I had the misfortune of speaking to Scheana who, IMO, has no idea what she is doing. First, she told me Earnestine was on vacation (fair enough) and would be back at the end of the month...silence. Like, that was the answer to my question. I again explained I need my policy in effect ASAP so I would need a tad more info than that. I had to explain my issue several times and I asked her to look at my file because everything is done. She took my name and number. Five minutes later she called to tell me, with much confidence, that State Farm no longer insures property in CA. Which I had already been told was the case for general insurance but not for fire only through the FAIR Plan. I asked her to please actually look at my file and not be so ready to give misinformation. She then called a third time to tell me my payment options were mailed to me yesterday. I asked if she could email me or tell me those options because I really don't want to have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to start my policy. Her response? "I didn't tell you you had to wait until next week, I told you it was mailed yesterday." (today is Friday). Then I literally had to to explain why I wouldn't get it until Monday or Tuesday as she didn't seem to understand how basic mail works either. She just kept repeating that she didn't have access to Earnestines email. I wasn't asking for her to do that. I was asking for her to email me information, or a copy of the letter. I guess Scheana doesn't have her own email either. So, I asked for a website or something as it's 2023 and I seriously doubt I can only pay for the policy via a coupon book or via whatever is in the mail. I also asked her to understand why I don't trust her answers as she had *just* told me they couldn't give me a policy that I knew was approved. I then asked if there was anyone else, even a receptionist, that I could speak with because we were not communicating and she said "no" and that she was going to hang up on me. I reminded her I didn't curse, didn't call her names and that I just want believable answers from someone who is knowledgeable. She hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a receptionist who said there was no one else to speak to and put me on hold. At this point, I gave up and will be making a complaint to whoever licenses insurance brokers. If Earnestine is the "only person who is licensed" (their words) to handle policies, why even keep the place open while she is on vacation. Why not save the cash on a/c during this heat wave? And where is the person whose name is on the business? But more important than that, is something as logistical and basic as how to pay for an approved policy something that only a licensed agent can provide? We all agreed my policy was approved, written and ready. So it feels very lazy to not give me the basic info to pay it as fires literally surround my house. IMO, if you want to call a business and feel like the employee just wants to get you off the phone ASAP so they can go back to doing whatever it's is they do and give you a hard time when you don't accept their non answers as answers, call and ask for Scheana. She *can* do that.

    I had a claim for my residencial insurance then i cancell the claim, but the company refused to…read moremake a note that i cancell the claim. So it show to my record that i had a claim. I suggest to check other insurance company.
