I've gotten both both body work with McGriff's across the road (these are not considered the same location) and with Keith at McGriff's Auto. Pleased with both. Much more affordable than the dealer and I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of as a woman. They handle a lot of the military's auto repair since they are located right near Maxwell Air Force Base. They work strictly from 7-5pm. They give you a quote right over the phone if you know what you need done after calling their sources for their parts. Give em a shot. Definitely worth it. read more

Took my minivan in because it had an annoying squeak coming from one of the wheels. Keith had it up on the lift in a jiffy and took off the wheel. Since our van was bought used, the person who did the last brake job put this tiny metal clip on backwards and as the brake pads wore down it made this terrible noise! He didn't even charge me, just thanked us for our military service (husband is Air Force). Gave him a tip though ;) Will definitely do business with McGriff again. I wanted to get the hood painted on my Infiniti. I called McGriff for a quote. They were really helpful and friendly. He gave me a fair price. After talking to him I decided to have some additional work done, which was my front bumper and headlights. My car was ready the day he told me it was going to be ready. When I got there to inspect my car it was beautiful!!! I would recommend going to McGriff to anyone and I would use them again if I need anything done. My 22 year old daughter was moving to Pensacola, Florida from Nashville, Tennessee. She was driving with her two young children when her car started vibrating uncontrollably near Montgomery, AL, I looked up nearby Auto Repair locations and found McGriff's on Yelp that had a 5 star review. I called and spoke to Keith and he assured her he would get it fixed. Brooke was able to have a friend pick her up and bring her the rest of the way to Pensacola while Keith tried to locate the CV axle for the repair. Keith had the part shipped to him but it was damaged so he ordered another one and they unfortunately sent the wrong part. We were finally able to get the part from the dealer and it was installed. The pricing was more then fair and we are ecstatic with the result. A few days later Keith reached out to me via text just to check in on us, What a great touch! Keith is the most trustworthy and reliable mechanic I have met. We had an emergency, time sensitive repair that required same day service due to the fault of an incompetent jiffy lube employee from another store who failed to accurately conduct an oil change. Keith's shop only uses seasoned mechanics--folks who are experts based on firsthand experience on the job. Keith was able to accommodate our last-minute walk-in and fixed the problem within an hour. Just picked up my car from McGriff Automotive Services after it had been there for THREE full business days. I needed an inspection and tires rotated/balanced for a cross country road trip. I had to delay my trip an entire day because the car wasn't ready, then after I got it back, it had an oil change and three new belts, total cost= $300. They also didn't do 5 of the 7 things I requested. Great. Now, I don't have time to go to another mechanic. Huge, huge disappointment. read more

I had 100's of miles left to drive and he put my car on the lift to make sure it was safe. He charged me zero dollars. Excellent work and customer service. Took one of our vehicles there for a door problem, Tim fixed it on the spot. Took our other vehicle there for a big dent in the rear bumper that we thought might require an entire new bumper, but he got most of the dent out on the spot using a heat gun, and fixed the rest a week later when he had more time for us to bring it back. Very reasoanbly priced, especially for military customers... we had to talk him into being paid at all for the half hour with the heat gun. Located right outside Maxwell AFB. read more

McGriffs is amazing. Had been having auto issues for a while and was told by a larger more well known auto shop in another state it was the CV Axels and would cost a lot to get fixed. Didn't have the money so when I moved here I took it to the same chain store and they told me they had no idea what was wrong with the car but there was $1500.00 worth of other things that needed fixing. I wanted another opinion and was told about McGriffs so I took my car there to get inspected. Now I didn't have a ride back to work and they brought me back to base to my work so I didn't have to sit and wait. They did the inspection and come to find out it was the sway bar link and was only going to cost around $150 to fix. Got a day schedule to bring the car back and had it fixed no problem. These guys were polite and amazing. Will only go there from no on while living here. Definitely recommend to anyone especially military. read more
