Mark is a bike enthusiast! I can tell that he fixes bikes as a hobby, and he is great at it. When I called, he happened to be in my area, and agreed to stop by. My bike had been collecting dust in the garage for over a year. He brought it back to life, and taught me a few things about my own bike. Thanks to Yelp for helping me find a new bike technician! Sadly, the favorite bike shop that I'd been using for bike maintenance in Henderson closed its doors last year, so when it was time for me to find a new shop, I Yelped one in Henderson and came up with McG's. I was especially drawn to the "Rollin Workshop" part which meant that I could have my bike picked up from my job and delivered back without me ever having to leave on my lunch breaks to do those things. I called owner Mark McGovern aka McG on Monday morning, he picked up my bike that afternoon from my place of employment in Henderson and he delivered it back to me three days later on Thursday afternoon just as my work day was ending. The convenience was a definite plus not to mention the excellent tune-up the bike received. Mark gave me an estimate of what would be needed when he first picked up the bike as he inspected it so there would be no surprises when the bill came. I knew that I needed a new bike chain (he agreed), a new battery for my CatEye computer, new handlebar tape, and a major cleaning. When the bike was returned to me, it was spic and span with all the work done that we agreed upon, plus fixing a derailleur cable. My bike looked like new and rides like it, too. Mark is an incredible person and a great bike mechanic! My boyfriend and I own 2 folding Brompton bikes, and his got a flat rear tire last Tuesday. I found Mark on Yelp, contacted him on Friday, and he got back to me as soon as he got my message the same morning. Made an appointment for next day; he came to our house with his truck, changed my boyfriend's tire with ease like he really knows the mechanic of the Brompton. Not only that, we tuned up and took care of both of our bikes like his own, educated us on the bikes and charged only $14 for changing the inner tube. I would definitely recommend contacting him for anything bike related, regardless you just have a regular bike or a more complicated folding bikes. He knows his stuff! read more

I had just purchased a bike in a box and started shopping for someone to assemble it. I called several places and they all wanted two weeks and between 100 and 150 to do it. The money wasn't the issue, it was the time. Lucky for me Mark from McGs called me back and said he could do it the next day and at a very good price. I got very lucky because Mark is an enthusiast as well as a mechanic. He spent time to walk me through the bikes operation and answer all my questions. Mark is an EXCELLENT bicycle repair service person! I asked for a quote over the phone and set up a day and time to repair my bike. He sent me a text to confirm our appointment. He arrived on time and was completed faster than I expected. Mark replaced the front and back tires, which was very worn down, and I asked if he could do a tune-up of my bike. Let's get down to it: this is the only place I will ever give my business to when it comes to bike work! Mark is super knowledgeable, flexible on pick up and drop offs, is tech savvy, and so kind. He truly cares about his work and his love of bikes really shows through in the product he brings back. I had my hybrid picked up for a tune up and loved it so much when I got it back- it rode like a brand new bike! I was so impressed with Mark's services that I asked him to take care of my pop's vintage Raleigh as well. It needed a complete overhaul and Mark took care of everything, even finding an original derailleur to replace the old worn out one. My dad just went for a ride today after years of not riding and he had the biggest smile on his face! Totally worth it. Mark has been taking care of my bikes for over a year now. He'll "roll" up to your house, pick up your bike, fix or accessorize and bring it back to you. His service is personal. He tunes up my road bike (serious bike) and salvaged my fun "vintage" mountain bike. He fixes all my flats and even stopped by to secure my newly purchased basket. read more

I just moved from Chicago to Vegas a week ago. The movers delivered my stuff yesterday; all my property was all good except for my son's bike. I am sure the brake pad was broken/lost during the move and transport. I searched my trusty Yelp for a bike repair shop in the area and that is how I found Mark (McG's Rollin Workshop). He is a mobile bike shop... so cool. I called him and he came to the house within the hour as promised. It is quite apparent Mark is very knowledgeable and passionate about fixing bikes AND his service delivery is fantastic! Mark is pretty fantastic, and is for sure my go-to- guy here Henderson/ Las Vegas. I found him here through yelp and is it happens it right in the neighborhood! He came to the house which awesome (cuz I have epilepsy and can not drive right now). Mark fixed my bike in a timely manner for such a decent price. He has since followed up two times over with a few adjustments and even lessons and pointers and he's been more than fair about it. Whether you can drive or not, Mark should be the guy you call! I pick up and deliver, or I can do most common maintenance at your location. We can make an appointment for onsite service, or pick it up and I will return it to you in a week or less.

Established in 2015.

I started this business out of my passion for bicycles. I have worked in professional shops, and have also enjoyed it as a hobby, for over 20 years. I have raced Mountain and BMX bikes throughout my life, and continue to be an avid recreational rider. I am a certified Professional Bicycle Technician through United Bicycle Institute in Portland Oregon, with advanced suspension technology training. I also have Fox Certified suspension training.

As what may seem like a primarily mountain biking shop I can assure you their selection spans over all types of biking. As road biker myself I had already come in multiple times to get my bike serviced and they always did a great job. Also, when came in to buy my new bike the service was awesome and the guy that helped me explained in depth what bikes might work for me and we landed on the first one he pulled. I also came back to get fitted and was helped by another gentleman who was super informative about how to upkeep my bike and even gave me a mini tutorial on shift, braking, and cleaning my new bike. All in all it was an investment so my bike wasn't cheap, but the value that the employees provided adds to the value of my bike In my opinion and I'm super happy with my new purchase. Will definitely be back as was recommended by the guys to have my bike serviced after the first few rides. Definitely recommend coming here if your looking for anything biking related

With our son being baptized last weekend, followed by 'real talk' with your medical specialist about the consequences of poor decisions, buffets and late nights all catching up after years of sedentary lifestyle, something needed to change. So I got a bike. The last time I used a bike regularly was in the 80's where my Tuffy took me miles away from home. And the desperate race to get home before dark and my father's whupping. I did my usual research, comparing and investigating different brands, different styles of bikes and their uses. I already had my heart set on a cyclocross or gravel bike. My buddy Gruber had a Surly that he rode 22 miles both ways to work in the dead of a Chicago winter from our apartment downtown. That sold me on the practical use of a bike that could take it under adverse conditions. I had actually looked for the right bike since. But I couldn't part ways with $3-5k on a Specialized or Trek. That was an expense I usually spared for firearms - truth talk. After my doctors appointment I made a call to the one closest to home. Giant on Blue Diamond. Spoke with Hanna and told her what I was looking for. She mentioned a couple of different models that fit the bill but what caught my attention was that one model was nearly $550 off the full price but it was the last model on the show floor. I gave it 2 weeks. And then 2 nights in a row I wake up with GI pain that kept me awake all night. I swung to the store when they opened and Pat and Hanna showed me some really cool features - 1. It was my size, 2. The tires were tubeless so there was no need to fill the tires with air - better for running over pointy things and keep on rolling, and 3. A brake system based on hydraulics. I was out of excuses. I bought it before anyone else could snap it up. Pat adjusted everything and Hanna shaved some of the seat stem after measuring - while cautioning me on the expectations and finer points of bicycling. Bottom line, I highly recommend! They're knowledgeable without being pretentious. Informative without being pushy or upselling at every opportunity. Both of them advising to spend on higher end items until I was properly broken in. Go here and ask for Pat and Hanna!

From the second I walked in, the team made me feel completely welcome -- no ego, no judgment, just genuine help. They didn't just fix my tire, they actually helped me understand the sport a little better. That meant a lot. When you're a beginner, that kind of patience and education builds confidence. Hannah especially was incredible -- her speed changing my tire was unreal. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Efficient, professional, and still super kind the entire time. What really stood out to me is that I don't even ride a Giant bike (yet), and they still treated me like I was family. That says everything about the culture of this shop. Because of how well I was treated, my next bike will absolutely be a Giant -- and I'll be coming here for life. Highly recommend.

I tried to post this review on Google, and to respond directly to Bob's before posting a review but…read morethey don't have an easy way to give them feedback. They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

The prices were relatively decent and the work was done swiftly. I was told they normally don't do same day pick up but they had all of our pieces ready for us in about two hours. I would recommend them to friends and family as well as personally do business with them in the future. Come to think of it, I have a few rings that need a diamond or two replaced. So I'll actually be paying them a visit very soon and look forward to them delivering quality work yet again.
