This is not a review of the bed and breakfast itself as I chose to stay in a much nicer hotel for much cheaper than the rates that McKenna cottage charges. After I spent a half hour getting lost looking for the one lane road this place, I was greeted with lovely trailers. The cottage is about a half mile down on the right hand side. My best friend is getting married today. Our plan was to meet here in the morning to get dressed for the wedding before heading to the venue. Upon arrival, I was greeted rudely by the owner, Joe, informing me that only registered guests only were allowed in the house and we couldn't get ready there. Look here, joe, I get it that you've had problems in past and parking is tight. But I'm also a potential customer. Not any more, bud. Oh and spare me the tragic stories of how you have to fix the place up. You are a business owner it's part of the deal. I'm sure you are clearing plenty of $$ at $200/night to serve just fruit for breakfast. Save your money and just stay in port clinton. read more
