The restaurant itself is nice and clean. It has a lot of tables and the night we were dining they had one really large party of about 12 women, so they can accomodate large groups. They have a TV playing loudly in the corner, which is sort of distracting but not terrible. Next to the restaurant they have a small shop selling food, candy, and camping essentials. For my entree I ordered the chicken fried steak which also came with a salad and mashed potatoes. I had never seen chicken fried steak made that way before, but maybe this is how they make it up north? I am from Texas, and there the steak is breaded just like you would bread fried chicken with a sort of white crunchy outer layer. Here, the dough was brown and smooth. I prefer the southern way of making chicken fried steak. The gravy helped to add some flavor though. If I came again I'd order the porkchops, bc those looked tastier.

The stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and pots & pans. The safe in the closet. The quietness and the food offerings at the counter. And the value for the money can't be beat. I could not stay at another hotel in the vicinity, after staying here. My hat's off to the management and owners for such a well designed and planned offer. I checked out the next day, looked at my card statement a few days later and seen i was charged for BOTH rooms. I called 6-7 times, finally got ahold of a "manager". They then said they fixed it. Looked at my statement, the fix was now being charged 1 room for 2 nights, they said i didn't check out by checkout time (which is a LIE), so i was charged a "stayover" day. This hotel is VERY dishonest and VERY shady. I will never stay there again, i recommend strongly to look for another place to stay if you need a place to stay in Williston.

We then asked for toilet paper and she muttered under her breath "I hate people." Definitely not family friendly. We also learned "the gym has a leak" so we were unable to use it. If you like cold eggs and stale cereal in a gum ball machine, this is the place for you. Be prepared to bring your own toiletries. Be sure to pack a towel if you want to stay clean.

And for the most part it is pretty quiet around here. It's getting to be pretty chilly outside and they are building insulated boxes over the pipes below and insulating the Windows. The Cherokee trailers have 2 furnaces with full kitchen and tons of storage space. Big water tank. And that is a HUGE PLUS out here in the Bakken. Whenever there is a maintenance problem they are here quick to fix it. I would recommend this place to anyone.
