Whether they are black and white brogues or vibrant orange clogs Sole Devotion have you covered. Just check out the different shoes and then flag down a sales assistant to help you out. There's a long cushioned bench in the middle of the store where you can have a seat, and even though the store can get very busy at times all the sales assistants are brilliant. Not only are they friendly, but their speed and efficiency astonishes me when the store is bursting with eager shoppers. If crowds aren't your thing then maybe try and avoid the weekends; there are always people around but its less likely you'll be distracted from some great shoe shopping.

The women's store can be accessed from Level 1 and the Men's on Level 2 (You can just walk up / down a flight of stairs if you need both), both stores provide excellent fashions that will keep everyone looking. I've shopped here a few times (hundreds of times at marcs in general), I just love their designs, they stand out but still remain minimalist, there's no tacky writing across shirts, it's all about stripes and shapes, plain and simple. Their pricing is pretty is not cheap, but it's nothing crazy. Well worth a shop if you like well designed, quality items. I've held onto every garment i've bought from Marcs, because their designs are so fresh yet minimilist, you can wear them at different occasions, for (i'd like to think) ever.

The staff quickly punched in the request to her computer while then answering someone else's question and then threw an answer back to me "We can get 'em here by Wednesday". Great! Simple fast and efficient service was exactly what I was after, and I got a reminder call on Wednesday to come and get my boots.

The store also stocks a wide variety of hats and head gear and are exclusive stockists for London based head label Tour De Force and Chapeau Claudette. Other great labels to look out for include Lowie Knitwear, Stella and Minx basics, Pipduck gumboots, Only Midge leather bags, Oktoberdee handmade accessories and Powershovel cameras. I love the wide variety of dresses - from cheeky sun dresses to streamlined but trendy work wear and sexy cocktail dresses. When ever I need a new dress, this is my number one place to go to. It's also great that they incorporate lots of colour into the spectrum of fashion and of recent, have stocked a good range of colourful shoes as well.

I used to have orthotics and have a bit of a dodgy body so it piqued my interest. But mostly I thought their mens' shoes range could be the answer to my hospitality-worker husband's problematic feet and recent pain issues. He now has a really lovely looking pair of work shoes that won't kill his feet. Bonus for me, I found two really nice pairs of casual shoes for him that he equally loves. So while we didn't get them all there and then (shoes here cost between $200-$290 a pair) it looks like I will finally get to stop nagging him to stop wearing thongs out and get him into some decent weekend shoes soon! Wife win. The women's shoes range have flats, loafers and heels. Most have an ankle strap to hold you in and stop toe-clawing. I found them a bit bulky for what I'm used to, but they're super comfy and I think I'll probably end up with a pair of the loafer style that comes up higher on the foot and doesn't need the strap. Right now I'm holding out for their new season winter boots as I myself do a fair bit of running around on foot. The staff were really friendly and knowledgable. They assured us that if there were any problems with the shoes at all, we could bring them back and they can refit the insole to sort any issues. Apparently they get people bringing back shoes after years to readjust the sole - making the price tag not only worth the investment, but actually a pretty good bargain for what you're getting. The buckle actually broke on my husband's shoes on his first day of wear which we were pretty surprised by, but they fixed it immediately and gave him some free polish for the inconvenience. Definitely sold on these guys.

The customer service is what makes me say that I'll never shop with Bared again. Take a week to reply, instead of helping with a refund try to sell more and generally don't seem at all keen to help. The fact that they don't do refunds was also poorly advertised on their website, so I only found out about it when it was too late. Such a waste of my time and money!
