I was excited to go with my friend and our daughters. They do have free parking. You have to pay with cash or online, but that doesn't make sense to me when you can use a card everywhere else. We got there and there wasn't too much to do unless your children are really small. They truck to sign is cool. We enjoyed the basketball game you can play. The hayride was okay. It was really short. It could actually be walking distance for some. They have a lot of pumpkins to choose, but only the little ones are free. The lemonade was okay, it did its job for the random hot day it was. For anyone searching for Christmas lights... I've been looking for a good, fun place for toddlers to look at Christmas lights the last few years, and thought I finally found the perfect place!! I took my family to McLaurin Farms because I saw online they had the all the fun photo ops, playground, inflatables, hay ride drive through, walk through lights, etc. I know they have Woods of Terror for Halloween, but did NOT expect them to implement a HAUNTED HOUSE in Christmas!!! I have worked VERY hard to keep the scary things away from my kids- to the extent that my 3 year old came running to another room because she was scared watching Santa Buddies, and thinks Monsters Inc is a "really scary movie". When we got to the walk through lights, my daughter saw Anna from Frozen and got SO excited!! Then one of the workers directed us to the other side of the walkthrough and said we will end up where Anna is at but to go through that side first. If you have sensitive or young kids, DO NOT GO. When we got there, I saw it was building they use for Woods of Terror. I looked to see if we could walk around it and didn't see anywhere. I was wrong, we should have turned around then, but I thought the only way to the rest of the walkthrough was through the house. I figured it would just be a quick little run through - WRONG. It had Stranger Things, Nightmare Before Christmas, and so many others that I didn't even recognize. It was SCARY. no warning, no one telling us we could skip it, no one letting us know that it wasn't meant for kids, etc. This is my warning to all the moms- I love, love, love that they have play areas for kids and my kids loved all the lights! But please be warned that there's a section not meant for kids. Learn from my mistake! 3 stars because it was great minus the horror sections. We came for Trunk or Treat and were charged 28.00 cash for two people at window. Upon review tickets were 12.00, so where is the four dollars? Not a big deal, almost a don't bother thing, but they only accept cash at the window unless you pay online.. Prices are not listed when you enter but there is a lot of legal language on signs, no pregnant women, no crutches, etc. and you are told to sign a waiver for children on your phone.. but then they don't check that. Plus you walk through a metal detector and it is going off on everyone who walks in, yet there is no security. But they were busy and everyone was having fun. read more

I was passing by this place and had no idea what to expect but I saw the ice cream sign and that sounded like a great idea so we stopped in. It's a very tiny little store shop where you can order your wine, snack, or ice cream they had plants outside to purchase and some gardening decorations. We were the only ones there during the hours we went, and it was relaxing to sit at the little picnic table, and then the two business dogs came out. they were so fun and lovable they truly made our visit great. read more

Booked our tickets online for the 6pm Christmas Hayride event!! Super excited. We arrived at 5:30pm...didn't see a like for the advanced ticket purchases. So....At 6pm the Ticket booth opened. Few lines for ticket sales and 1 line for advanced purchases. So we stood in line anyway....money wasted. I purchased online so I wouldn't have to wait in line...which everyone was wearing masks but they weren't observing 6-foot distance. (My crew was). Lots of activities for the kiddos.... Hayride - I told the tractor driver our music wasn't working ...so we sung Christmas carols the entire ride. After we got off the worker told us to get on another hayride with music. That was Cool!! The rhythm of the music paired with the Christmas light show throughout the hayride. Thanks McLaurin Farms!! The Grinch made an appearance...A social distant visit with Santa was cool...and the small barrel cars - the kids loved it!! Roasting marshmallows was the cherry on top. Epic Night!! The Christmas feeling comes to life at McLaurin Farm. The hay ride through the lights while singing Christmas song is the memories I wanted to give my kids. Seeing Santa and the Grinch (better than a mall Santa) and getting keepsakes photos was so much fun for the boy. I even got to see Ralphie from a Christmas Story in his pink bunny pj's. My wife and I sat by one of the many fire pits, drinking coco as my boys jumped in a bounce house. Raindeer petting zoo too. So much to do there besides the light. read more

Great lil market with a variety of items to choose from. They have outdoor decor made of cement, wood, and metal. This family owned business sells flowers, plants, veggies, and delicious watermelons. You can even stop in and get hand dipped ice cream cones. Lastly, they have vintage signs for both inside and outside display. This market is definitely worth visiting! read more

Pumpkin Patch Festival -- My kids had a decent time. There wasn't a whole lot to do, but good enough for an hour or so. One of my complaints is that the bounce house and blow up slide are on big, hard gravel which is hard on the kids feet since they have to remove their shoes to play. Running back and forth between the slide and bounce house was painful. And they also could use another bench for the kids to sit on to be able to put their shoes back on. There was only one. The food truck had limited options, I think it was only hamburgers, hotdogs, bologna sandwiches and French fries. There was another snack stand that had chips, candy, donuts and drinks. There were plenty of picnic tables, pumpkins and wagons to transport the pumpkins if you decide to purchase. Overall we had an okay time. read more

Everyone that works there seems nice but... we went there for the Christmas lights and it was so overdone and expensive. $28 a ticket plus $10 parking?!? In the middle of nowhere? And it wasn't a traditional, quaint Christmas experience. It was an awkward mishmash of every Christmas thing you can think of, layered with extremely smokey bonfire pits everywhere, giant lighted crosses in the parking lot and a huge American flag with "Proud to be an American" playing in the background. What does Americanism have to do with Christmas? So obnoxious. It felt like a cross between a Trump rally and an in your face Christmas themed farm. Not enjoyable. Just in your face exploitation of the Christmas spirit and a money grab. Also, we waited for 30 minutes to do the hay ride, and when we finally rode it, one of the workers threw felt snowballs at the people on the wagon as part of the "fun". Well, one of them hit my wife in the eye, which appeared to be very painful. Won't be going back. Save your money. This is not the Christmas experience we were looking for... read more

Attended the Adult Bunny event recently and was so disappointed. The event ad indicated a Photo Booth, buffet, live band and so much more. After approximately an hour we decided to leave. At that time - the only activity was corn hole. We did see hamburgers were on the way. The event was so overpriced for what I experienced. Thank you. read more

McLaurin Farms is the location where the Woods Of Terror takes place every Halloween season along with various other events throughout the year. During the Christmas season they have a Christmas lights display. The Christmas lights display is maybe a half mile from entrance to exit for the drive-thru portion, they also have a section for parking so you can walk to their Midway section where there are more light displays, lights in the trees, fire pits to roast marshmallows, a hot chocolate stand, and Santa Claus may be sitting in his sleigh for the young tikes to hop in to let him know what's on that Christmas list. At the back portion they have another section where you can park and tune your cars radio to 88.9FM and watch the lights dance along to the music on the radio. Admission is $10 per car load, each year they add more and more lights. If you're into Christmas lights it's a pretty neat place to visit, especially for the kiddos. read more
