I called Sean on a Tuesday to check my chimney as I'd had some work done by another roofing crowd…read morewho said it needed repair after they had done some work for me a few months ago. Sean came out later that day and inspected it and highlighted the work needed to the chimney but also showed me photos of cracked tiles caused by previous roofers - he gave me a reasonable quote and we agreed for him to come out the next day. He and his assistant Willie did all the work necessary including new lead flashing between chimney and roof and covered exposed facia board and they replaced all broken tiles and cemented as needed. He was very professional showing pictures and video of the before and after. I was very happy with his approach and professionalism and have no hesitation to recommend him and Allguard Roofing - I just wish I'd gone to him in the first place.

They left us with a chimney that looked like it had been rendered by a primary school class, gutters that were twisted and spilled, downpipes with screws sticking into them that trapped debris and clogged the pipe, a downpipe that missed the shore and simply flood the place, a hole in the chimney that you could put your fist into which hadn't been filled, flashing that didn't do its job - and much more. We have photos, taken by the guy who is up there now fixing their botched mess. Unlike them, he takes photos to show before and after. They never came back to fix up after themselves. We threatened legal action but our lawyer advised us that they could just go bust and start again under a new name. They gave us a 15-year guarantee. Avoid them, and warn others!

When this was refused the boss demanded payment up front and left two young guys to finish replacing guttering, no invoice or receipt given. Gap left in guttering on rear of house, multiple calls to fix problem ignored. Awful service avoid at all costs.

It turned out this person was not a registered Builder. He owes me 60k due to roof not needed…read moredoing, he would not do dormer roof, the bay was shrunk, non tripple windows were put in among other things very charming but did not keep promises. He asked me to stop emailing and confirming good quality windows etc -As he said he had dyslexia and could not deal with the reading
