Takes care of my more complex taxes. I have been doing my own for years, but this year required an expert, i gave McMullen a try and we are well pleased with his work and professionalism. His location is convenient and office personnel are friendly and knowledgeable as well. The charges for doing my taxes are reasonable. I appreciate the time that was spent talking about my taxes and that he is just a phone call away if something needs to be addressed in the future regarding those taxes. Established in 1984.

Founded by Frank McMullen in 1984 and has continued to serve all of North East Texas in the preparing of income tax and business consulting. Owners John & Kimberly Wisener acquired the business in 2012.

Meet the Business Owner: John - Kimberly W.

John & Kimberly both have a business acumen and a desire to serve others. McMullen Tax Service is an extension of John's pastoral ministry. John retired after a thirty year distinguished career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice rising to the rank of Assistant Warden. He also served in the private sector as a warden in North Carolina & Montana. John Pastor's a church in Pittsburg, Texas. Kimberly gained her experience in the banking industry and a career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and Windham School as an education tester. Kimberly and John both attend annual training at various locations to stay abreast of tax law and its applications.

First saw a post on Facebook for McMullen Tax Service. I was in need of Tax services to the extreme. I had put of finding a new company due to past experiences from other tax places. My anxiety was through the roof. After seeing John and Kimberly's post several times I gained a peace, and called. I was given an appointment promptly and to my convenience . As soon as I met John I knew i had come to the right place. He listened to everything I had to say. He gave me advice and made suggestions on how to handle our current situation. You will find no better income tax preparation, service outside of McMullen Tax Service. They are a mom and Pop business who is faith, centered, and family oriented. They can take care of all your tax issues. John specializes in clergy taxes. Kimberly specializes in rental properties.
