I got my first & second tattoo with Pedro. My artist, Pedro, did a fantastic job making both stencils, and getting the colors as close as possible to the picture. MD is a really cool place, clean, sterile, and the tattoos are reasonably priced. I'd recommend saving, as the size and time can make tats a hefty price tag. The staff is polite & friendly. They have up to date equipment, easy parking and freeway access. I highly recommend getting their Wipe Outz & butter after the tattoo to help with the healing process. MD is truly a hidden gem. Messaged them via the Yelp page, got a prompt response from the business. They were very accommodating trying to schedule a time to get the work done. It was a simple piece underneath one I already had done, and I made an afternoon appointment with Alyssa. Went in and she had a design ready for me after we texted back and forth about it for a bit. I liked the design and she prepped some sizes and we went forward after talking about it for a bit. Alyssa was pleasant to spend an hour with, personable and nice. Let my brother come sit and watch the process and chat with us which helped pass the time. Chatted with Mike the owner for a bit also who told us some fun stories about working with some celebs. Nice guy, the whole atmosphere was pleasant and inclusive. Alyssa really did a great job. She was fast and she's a great artist. Very professional, I'll be going back for more work in the future. Insanely over charged!!!!! I asked about prices but were never fully specified. I asked about jewelry prices and they said 45 for both pieces of jewelry but after I was pierced I noticed a 50 DOLLAR EXTRA CHARGE?!?!? I found out soon later they charged me 25 for each flat back on my jewelry without asking or specifying on what backing they would be giving me and how much extra it would cost. Do not recommend they are definitely over charging you. Way better service and way better prices at other places I've been to around here before. read more

MD Studio's is located in a nice plaza with lots of parking. Upon entering the shop you'll notice it's extremely clean. A nice sound system and HDTV are there for your enjoyment. The shop showcases the artwork from the artists along the walls. This is some of the best realism artwork I've seen. All the artists at MD Studios are highly skilled and deliver some of the best tattoos in the valley. I went ahead and selected Marc Durrant because of his ability to transfer exactly what you see on paper to what you see in a tattoo and then some. Marc is very nice and will take his time so that you will get exactly what you want. Marc is very good in integrating his background in art to his tattoos. This makes for a very high level of execution within his work. I got a Double Cheese Burger tattoo from Marc. I have posted it in the pictures for MD Studios. You can see the detail in this burger from the sesame seeds to the detail in the red onions. All in all an excellent experience over at MD. For a custom tattoo this place is a must go to. Hands down one of the best shops in the valley. I'm am so happy I went with MD Studios. So thanks MD Studios and most of all thanks Marc!!!! I'll be back soon. read more

I contacted MS on yelp after knowing/seeing Mike's work for many years. I needed a rework done that I have been putting off for awhile and wanted a mini rocket on my wrist. Mike had KC contact me and it was history from there. I had an exact vision in mind for the rocket (I wanted it to be quarter sized), but since I had a reference in mind, KC was honest and told me that size would not work and to go a bit bigger. The one thing to do when it comes to tattoos: LISTEN when your artist says it is too small for what you want. After my quick consultation for the rocket and essentially being open for how i wanted the rework of my older tattoo, my appt was set for a few days later. I came in and filled out my paperwork (it is all on an iPad which is way better than filling out paperwork) and we got started. The rocket came out exactly how I wanted it; small enough to still be considered a small tat but not too small where it will look like a blob with no detail years from now. As far as the rework, KC did a great job with freehanding it and incorporating what once was a horrible tattoo into another one I had. I officially love all my ink and will definitely come back to MD in the future! read more

This is my first tattoo experience. I did a lot of research before going into this and I set up a consultation with an artist in LA. The day I was going to meet with him kyle devries reached out to me saying he'd be interested in doing the tattoo. That day I looked at his portfolio and canceled my consultation with the other artist. I am glad I did because the results speak for themselves. I still have one more session to go but this piece is coming out beautifully. Going into it I was also afraid of the pain level considering it's on the rib cage but to my surprise the pain is a 4 at most 6/10 Kyle definitely has gentle hands. The only problem that I had here was I left another deposit to finish up some work on my forearm, Unfortunately I let my artist know i would not be able to make it due to personal issues, I let him know 1 month in advance, I asked if I could get refunded, he said sorry no refunds ok understandable, I asked to hold my deposit till I'm ready, they do not want to have floating deposits so if I do not schedule something I have to forfeit it, I do not want to sceduale a date to which I'm not sure of so I forfeited my deposit due to shop policy For the amount of money I spent here you would at least have an honor policy with returning clients. The reason behind my decision was after initially speaking to Spencer over the phone I was swayed. He was professional, honest, and knew what he was talking about. Upon my arrival and after going over some basics, they set me up with an artist that goes by the name of KC. Dude straight up worked with me to fit and position what I wanted done. He really listened to me and offered some suggestions that would make my ink work shine with its best potential. Deep inside, I was nervous; I hadn't had any ink done for years. However, KC and the rest of the staff were...well, for lack of a better word, some of the coolest people I've met in a long time. KC did his thing and just blew my mind with his work.
