He instantly knew what was done wrong, what would be needed to fix it and how long it would take, which was significantly less time than the original work we had done by someone far less experienced. Christopher and his team are clearly experts with older homes like ours and they do a phenomenal job, very detail oriented and focused on perfection. Their services are well worth it if you want the job done right! Our dining room was originally natural wood with a deep red color, which we wanted painted white to brighten up the space. The person who we hired to paint it white previously did not use the proper materials, which ended in many layers of unnecessary paint and he didn't fill in all the gaps and holes that show up when painting natural wood white, so it looked very poorly done. The original painter also didn't know what to do with the radiator that was also dark red, so it turned out completely blotchy. Christopher's team came in and had the botched paint job sanded down, the holes/cracks filled and the space prepared for spraying in just a half day. It was remarkable how much better it looked after just a few hours. When they were done after two days, it was impeccable. They came back a week later to get all the hardware reinstalled and put it all back in working order. Some additional adjustments had to be made for the built in, which they made sure were done well for proper use. They also were able to squeeze us in as quickly as possible during rain days that they couldn't do their outside jobs, which we were very grateful for given the lost time of the original job. I was undecided between FCI and a friend's family member's company. Matt preserved. Matt worked with me to find a flooring that was in stock. My first choice is back ordered. I recently bought house and wanted floors done before I moved. He and his crew worked very hard, and came back on the weekend to finish due to power outage of several days, so the floors would be done for Monday move. The old saying of you get what you pay for...FCI was more expensive, but in the end it was TOTALLY worth it. The customer service alone was worth the extra money! Matt went out of his way to help me move a few heavy boxes the movers put in front of sink! The roofer, or cleaner put the "safety/anti burglar " dowel in sliding door wrong, and it was jammed. I had to take the shudders off the house for him because he didn't even tho he pressure washed that area without removing them first.
