Ask for rooms with a view of the square if available. The brunch layout is very good. There's sooo many options when you just walk out for a few minutes and it would benefit your visit if you ventured out sometimes. Once staff here figured out Im not obnoxious (as I'm told many Americans visitors here can be) staff warmed up. Then theres the pool and massage services. Its a warm 85 degree pool, not chlorinated offensively. After a sauna and massage I was set for the night. The small gym and dry sauna are open 24x7, are adequate and good. Love the attentive service and vibe. End of Yelp.

We asked for and checked into a smoke-free room. I have never begrudge smokers a place to enjoy their habit. My parents were three packers each. But I have "asthmatic allergies" and find I eventually cannot breathe in their presence. After dinner and getting into bed, I started coughing. Didn't think of anything at the time. But after hitting my pillow, I knew the previous guest, or guests were smokers. My wife offered her pillow and I put a moist towel from the bathroom on top of it and suffered throughout the night (after taking a Claritin). I spoke to the Front Desk and they offered us both new pillows and a room change. They were great and very understanding. Five Stars in fact.

There was a great promotion going on at the time, as I usually do not stay at IHG properties. The other reason was that rates were a ridiculously low $30 per night. The lobby is somewhat small, and check-in took a while as the front desk agent couldn't find the reservation at first. Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed was that the room was fairly small and cramped. The bathroom was located to the right, and was very compact to say the least. There was a small round sink about the size of a manhole cover, with decent counter space considering the size of the bathroom. There was a fully enclosed shower with shampoo/conditioner and shower gel dispensed from bottles. Next to the bathroom, was a small nook with two complimentary bottles of water and a kettle. There were two double beds, which weren't very comfortable but at least we had a place to lay our heads. There was a chair in the corner, however it looked lonely without another chair or small table. The desk area was somewhat small, but at least it was free of clutter. The Holiday Inn Express offers complimentary breakfast for all guests. That being the case, I wasn't expecting much but was somewhat pleasantly surprised at the offerings. It isn't gourmet, but there is almost something for everyone to get their day going. There were breads, pasties, fresh fruit, canned fruit cocktail, juice, hard boiled eggs, jams, jellies, yogurt, cereal, coldcuts, cheese and salad. The hotel is located fairly close to the airport, and is about 5-10 minutes away. If I had a very late flight, or a very early morning flight, I would not hesitate to stay here again especially given the price point.

If you arrive at the airport, you can call and request the shuttle (and it's pretty easy to find…read moreonce they tell you where to go), but if you need to leave from the hotel, you can only leave on the :00 and :30. The shuttle driver did not seem to speak much English and was pretty dry, but you can manage if you don't speak Polish. The front desk staff, however, spoke great English and were always very friendly. The rooms are clean, on the smaller side, though. The bathrooms like most of where I've been in Europe, don't have tubs, just standing showers. The room we had had two separate twin-size beds that were not connected in any way-- a lot of places we went in Europe advertised 2 twin beds but they were actually connected like a King. They also have a baggage check room where we were able to leave our luggage while we went sight-seeing for the day. Definitely worth staying when you have a late or early flight. An Uber ride into the main part of town will cost you about 30 Zloty.

The Rialto Hotel is a solid choice for Warsaw visitors. I liked it best for its quite central…read morelocation (central not in relation to the Old Town (touristy bit), but to those parts of the town where the real Warsawians hang out). In fact, some very nice cafés and restaurants are just a stone-throw away and also the distance to the city centre (the big plaza) is quite manageable by foot. The Rialto Hotel screams Art Deco & Art Noveau, which at some times can be a bit too much, but overall I feel that they've done a good job at capturing the spirits of those times (bearing in mind that I'm not an expert in architecture styles at all...) My hotel room was quite pleasant and I felt at home there. I especially liked the bathroom with the big tub...which I actually used on my first evening there, as the weather was quite dreadful. Overall, though, I did feel that the room was crammed with too many furnitures - usually the amount of furniture would have sufficed to furnish a junior suite. My biggest pet-peeve with the Rialto is the following: the wifi only works when the TV is turned on. (The wifi itself is strong, so that's a good thing ;-) The team at the Rialto Hotel is very nice and made me feel very much at home.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I had the very smallest room but it was fine for one person. Separate shower was a plus, nice toiletries and adequate vanity space with the sink. Closet space was good, including a good safe for laptop and jewelry. The vintage touches throughout the hotel were very nice, from light fixtures to furniture. Again mentioning how good the front desk staff all were. They anticipated needs, organized taxis efficiently, and gave good directions. Taxis are very inexpensive in Warsaw and the best way to get around to various sights and attractions. The Salto restaurant was somewhat disappointing. Breakfast was expensive, the contrived and odd dinner menu was unpalatable. When I made a comment at checkout about not enjoying my dinner the charge was removed from my bill! I would definitely stay at this hotel if ever in Warsaw again.

My room is spacious and comfortable…read more It's on the 23rd floor so it's perfectly quiet and I have a nice view of the city (all rooms are above the 18th floor, I think). The only negative is Internet access: there's no Ethernet port and WiFi access is only granted after you liked them on Facebook. Otherwise it's a very good hotel for business travelers. Prices for rooms here are quite modest compared to the nearby Radisson or Westin and you're just one block further from Warsaw's financial district.

Reception speaks English (very rare in Poland), but what is very unusual is there is no lobby, and no reception desk! You dial 27 on the Stairway 1 (K1) intercom, tell them you have a reservation and they will come down from their apartment, confirm your reservation number and Pre-payment, and show you to your room. Bathroom and toilet, and small frig, hot water kettle and microwave in hall shared by 4 rooms. Wifi is weak. Good small Carrefour Market 2 blocks up,to right on exit, good pastry shops, and beer/wine/spirits, Amrit Kebab restaurant very good next door. The laundry across the street is a rip off (100 Zloty/$28 for one load of no iron laundry!) Only problem, is that unlike Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, almost no one speaks English, and many locals become frustrated and maybe a bit upset. I RECOMMEND Oh, it is a bit away, 1 km from Old City, but I have not succeeded so far in finding something else. Total not tourist area. Poles though no problem nice are a lot more reserved than Germans, French, Spanish, Portuguese, English, etc. Polish is very difficult, though I am fluent in 4 European languages, Polish is something else.

It was there that the Constitution of 3 May was passed - the first in Europe and the second in the world. In the former home of Polish rulers, you will see the royal apartments, paintings by Rembrandt and canvases by Bernardo Bellotto, also known as Canaletto. On Castle Square stands the column of King Sigismund III Vasa, who in the 16th century moved the capital of Poland from Krakow to Warsaw. The oldest and the highest secular monument of the capital is an excellent landmark where locals in Warsaw often arrange to meet. The Old Town Square is the oldest and one of the most charming squares in Warsaw. It's impossible not to fall in love with this place! It was laid out at the turn of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Festivities and markets were organised here, but convicts were also executed. Although it is more than seven centuries old, its form has hardly changed. In the middle of the square stands a statue of the Warsaw Mermaid, the emblem and guardian of the city. If you are interested in the history of the city, visit the Museum of Warsaw or follow the Old Town Cellars Route. See also the barbican and the bell on Kanonia street, take a stroll along the old city walls and take a photo of the Vistula from the observation point at Gnojna Góra. Step into the cathedral, which houses the tombs of the medieval Mazovian princes, the last king of Poland Stanisław August Poniatowski, and the outstanding pianist and politician Ignacy Jan Paderewski. In the summer, the Old Town is full of café gardens and becomes a stage for cultural festivals. In winter, the Old Town and the Royal Route sparkle with beautiful illuminations.

We were 4 couples attendi g a friend's party, not all of us knew each other before so this concept was perfect, we had enough privacy in our beautiful rooms each with an own bathroom and then shared the spacious living room were delicious breakfast was served at the hour we decided the evening before. If you want to have a more individual experience than in any hotel and at the same time do not want to miss any service aspect (and even get better, more individual service) then this very special boutique hotel is the place to go!
