I was referred to Naima and Meadow Daycare from a friend whose children are 12 years apart in age. My friend sent both her kids to Naima, and the quality of care was constant over the years. Naima looked after my son and daughter for years, starting with the day I returned to work from both of my maternity leaves. Naima always thoroughly updated me on how each day went with my little ones. I was always amazed at how much detail she shared with me at the end of each day, and I saw her do the same with other parents and their children. Naima's home is a safe, beautiful and fun-filled space for the kids. She also provided delicious, well-rounded meals daily. There is and always will be a special place in my heart and my children's hearts for Naima and her husband. My three kids went to Meadow daycare between 2011- 2020. The oldest two are now 12 and 10 and they talk still about how much fun they had there and Naima's legendary pasta! They were so jealous of my four year old when she went back recently as here preschool was closed, but thankfully Meadow daycare was not! Naima used all necessary precautions during the current pandemic and I felt confident my child was protected and safe. Naima is caring, calm, flexible, helpful, knowledgeable, experienced and kind. Naima, the owner of Meadow Daycare, always made us feel that our son was in safe and caring hands. He was just about to turn two when he started and had never been cared for by anyone other than immediate family before. He settled in with no problem! I cant describe enough how amazing Naima is.... the warmth, hear calm, her love for the kids is just amazing!! I never experienced screaming kids or crying kids. She's always there with her big heart and loving hugs for the children. It hard feeling a bad parent when you leave and sometimes hard if they cry... Our son attended meadow day care for over 2 years, and I have to say that leaving (due to our move) is one of the saddest things I've had to deal with. It has been so difficult to find a place in our new area that comes close in comparison. We love Naima so much--she and her assistant Bernice truly care about all of the children under their care. Not only does she provide a fun, safe, clean and organized atmosphere...she provides DELICIOUS food for the children (and I'm a professional chef)! Naima has such a calm, kind and patient personality, which undoubtedly why she is so good at what she does. The hours are great (not a lot of places are open as early/late). She is very good about calling and reporting anything if necessary, and gives a summary at the end of the day during pick up. I knew that our time would end once our son started school, but I had hoped to have one more year with her. I'm confident that we will maintain a relationship. If you have the opportunity to send your child or lucky enough to get in when there is an opening--DO IT!!!! She is the best. read more

For a total of 8 years, Naima and her carefully chosen helper provided a safe, fun, play-based learning environment for my children. Naima shared her 25+ years of childcare and parenting experience and partnered with me on a daily basis on my children's social, emotional, and physical development and behavior. She offered useful suggestions, insight, and support during the more difficult days of parenting. I trusted her judgment and observations. We are so grateful that we found Naima and her wonderful staff. Our daughter started daycare at about 18 months and stayed with Naima until we moved when she was 3. I sent my daughter here when I had to go back to work, she was 3 months old. I was SO nervous, anxious and fearful. My daughter was a preemie and all the concerns about her health etc were overwhelming for me. Naima was patient and understanding of this and always made me feel like I could relax and get on with my day. 2 years later Im writing this review because come this fall I'll be sending her to pre-school. I would keep my daughter coming to Naima's just for the fun and love they share together for another several years, if I could. Naima has cared for my daughter over the last 2 and half years about 20 hours a week, and more when we needed extra care. My daughter is socially well balanced and has her friends she looks forward to seeing each week. She LOVES ' Nima' as do all the children. Naima is soft spoken, calm and extremely well mannered. She makes healthy lunches each day for the children. Her home is the daycare so it's beautifully maintained. She has an assistant who speaks spanish. My daughter understands spanish better than I do. Naima always took my many calls in the early days, checking in and was able to give me all and any information I needed about my childs day. I still check in twice a day, something I won't be able to at pre-school. I feel very lucky to have found Meadow Daycare and will continue my relationship and my daughters with Naima. This is a small, low key mellow daycare, if you your looking for a structured day with many rooms and outside entertainment visitors, this isn't the place for you or your child. This is more like sending your child to a family member. It's all free play based, a small inside room, the children play outside most of the day. read more

All three of our boys have been cared for by Naima. We all love her dearly. She has an amazing, calm demeanor, and knows the children in her care extremely well. She's run her home day care for more than 25 years. She has a huge yard where the children spend most of their time, safe places to play & climb--essential for our active boys. We have happily been a Meadow Day Care family since the end of 2013. Naima started caring for our daughter full time when she was 14 months old until she started school last fall. Even after our daughter was in school, Naima still kept in touch with us and we were able to send our daughter back to visit during her vacations from school when we still needed to work. When our son was born earlier this year I knew there was nobody else I wanted to care for him once I went back to work, and at four months old he is now in Naima's care full time as well. I consider Naima and her assistant Bernice to be a part of our extended family. They take such amazing care of all the kids and really treat them like their own. Naima is amazingly calm and she has made me a better parent with her suggestions and guidance that come from her many years of experience both as a parent and a daycare provider. Naima's home is inviting for the children and they have a wonderful outdoor play area to enjoy the fresh air and run off all that kid energy. I had been through several daycare places and was in a total panic and bind. Naima to the rescue! She worked with me and went above and beyond. My son stayed with her from the time he was 2 till he was 5. Naima's home is a second home for my children and only one of them attended her daycare. She is loving and patient and the best person to care for your children besides yourself. She potty trained my son and he has never had an accident. She worked with his food allergies and he never had an allergic reaction in her care. When my son started school his teacher asked how he knew all of his letters, numbers, colors and how to write his name. He told her it was Neema (that is what he calls her). We have since moved out of state and when we were leaving he told her that in his new house there is a magical door that will take him back to her house so he can see her always.
