Meadowlark is an incredible pre school filled with loving, caring teachers. We were treated like family from day one, and I mean that sincerely. Both of our kids are more compassionate and intelligent due to the love and attention of the staff here. There is nearly no turnover in staff, the teachers are very experienced and care immensely for the kids that attend. I can't say enough good things about Meadowlark. I'm sad that we only have another year here, but I know that the impact this preschool had on my children will last a lifetime. read more

All the teachers at this school are beyond amazing and the school has become like a second home for my children! My Daughter started at this preschool when we first moved from Australia over a year and half ago. Not knowing anyone and being in a new country she was instantly welcomed and fell in love with the school, teachers and friends. She absolutely loves going to school (often does happy dances and squeals of joy) and even requests to go more days! My son (2.5) now goes with her and even though he struggles with detachment at drop off some days, the teachers instantly put him at ease. I think it's a bonus that it is a smaller preschool, so children from various ages can all play and learn together, the teachers are also very attentive to every child so no one gets lost. 3-years in at this school and it just gets better and better. My son is now attending, as well, and he is flourishing in the same way that my daughter did. The teachers here are exclusively focused on our children and are true educators. There is no flashy marketing or corporate campaign to draw you in, but if you live around this area, you know the difference these guys have made in the lives of hundreds of children. We moved to Boulder last summer from CA. We sent our 4 year old daughter to Meadowlark for preschool this last year. She LOVED it! The teachers are the best and they work so well together!! They provide just the right amount of structure in such a loving environment. My daughter has multiple very serious food allergies. They took such wonderful care of her and did an excellent job of always keeping her safe while at the same time making her feel included in everything. I really can not say enough great things about this place! We had tried montessori and a parent coop preschool in CA. I have to say this was by far our favorite preschool experience! read more

Meadowlark is such a gem! We started our daughter there when she was 2.5, so she was the youngest student at the time, and she was welcomed warmly. They were very patient as she mastered potty training and getting used to going to school and the school's daily routine. The teachers are so compassionate. The kids are outside whenever the weather is decent, and the teachers are always upbeat and excited for the day. I love that they blend playtime with academics as well. I'm impressed my 3.5 year old came home yesterday singing about the planets and naming their characteristics, and can count to 25 in English and 10 in Spanish. The school is super organized (in their communication and the physical classrooms). We couldn't be happier! read more

Bear Creek Elementary's Kindergarten Enrichment was completely full, and we were put on a wait list. Meadowlark is next door to Bear Creek, and the kids get to walk (with a teacher) from school to school. The staff is always friendly, and it such a small school that the kids get a lot of individual attention. My son enjoys his time there, and I feel blessed to have found them! We could not love the Meadowlark community any more than we do. Ms. Erin, Ms. Lauren + Ms. Alex are absolutely a part of our family. We have 3 kids and all of them have gone through Meadowlark and LOVED it (as have we). As a result of the teachers' hard work, my kids come out of pre-school confident, incredibly prepared scholastically, and with a lot of friends already established for elementary school because Meadowlark feeds both Bear Creek + Mesa. I really appreciate that the school doesn't wed itself to one kind of learning entirely, it mixes Montessori thinking with other styles so kids have a very well-rounded experience and come out prepared for any type of elementary school. I cannot say enough about each of these three women individually, to add to this. What an incredible team. The compassion, patience, sense of humor, creativity and deep commitment to our children is really what makes this place so special.
