Our journey for an apartment in Jamestown, ND., began with Miss. Alexa who greeted us and made us feel welcome in her office at the Deer Ridge Apartment Complex. Her pleasant personality and patience made for a wonderful conversation to gather information from my wife and I as to what we were looking for in an apartment. Ladora had specific wants like a dishwasher, top-load washer and dryer in the apartment, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, ground floor or an elevator in facility, secured entrances to the building, indoor mail boxes, and a large garage. By the grace of God, Alexa was able to show us a couple of apartments that were possibilities and that were available. After a day of thinking Ladora chose the 3 bedroom apartment in The Meadows Apartments. Alexa realized that our tech skills were poor and she was patient and skillfully worked with Ladora and I through all of the paperwork that was necessary for securing the apartment we desired to have. My lack of fully understanding things did require extra work for Alexa and I am sure tested Alexa's patience, but no one would know it as she skillfully worked through any difficulties I seemed to create. Alexa has become a dear and trusted friend as Ladora and I have now moved into our beautiful apartment. The Meadows Apartments are of an older construction period and are well built with a solid foundation and thick walls. They are well maintained and our apartment has new carpets in the bedrooms and livingroom. I like the large scale rooms like a master bedroom the size of a living room, a laundry room the size of a bedroom, and best of all a large dining room, kitchen, and living room in an open L-shape concept that can have room for a large gathering of family or friends. I like the large windows and the convenient garage and guest parking locations. My wife and I required higher seated toilets and they were installed for our convenience at no cost. Comments and compliments about Alexa, the wonderful young and professional lady she is and how helpful she is to Non techy and needy retired, people such us. Upon my husband's retirement as of December 31st, we found ourselves searching for a place to live, after living the past 40 years in church owned homes. First, we searched in Dickenson where my sister and husband live, but there were no 3 bedroom apartments available. We met Alexa, what a great lady she is! We told her what we were looking for, a 3 bedroom with a washer & dryer and a dishwasher in the unit. She said she had one available if we wanted to look at it. We said definitely! Not only did it have what we wanted but also had 2 bathrooms, a double stall garage, elevator, brand new carpet and it is so spacious, it feels like a condo! We really like the high security in the apartment building and there is no smoking in or around the building. Thank you, Alexa, for being so professional and helpful to 2 old people who were in a search for a new home! She is always there for us if we have questions or need helpful advice! God Bless her for all she does for those of us who are in need of help figuring things out! My brother was visiting with a couple of ladies that live downstairs that have been residents for 22 years and absolutely love being here! I love my apartment but what makes it so special is the staff. They are all very good. I have put in many work orders and they have been taken care of so quick. The manager Chelle is amazing. She helped me find my apartment, kept in contact me for over a year before I found it. Chelle has helped me out when I had no heat, she has unlocked my door when the door battery was low and today she helped me add my mom onto my lease. She was very patient and made my mom feel very welcome. I used to work with her and she is just as kind today as she was many years ago. Thank you. read more

We lived at Meadows for a short while and we absolutely loved it. Chelle took care of us on the tour and made the application process so easy. Anytime there was a maintenance issue David was there so fast and took care of it. We felt as if we were more than just a number. I wish we could take the building and staff with us.
