My sister-in-law was lining up to pay at a register which she didn't know or wasn't sure if this particular cashier/register was closed as he was still attending to one customer ahead of her. So she asked if he was still open. He responded with I am and was typing something away and then in the filipino language remarked," Ang kulit nito." Which in English translates to, "This one's annoying." Unbeknownst to him, my sister-in-law is also Filipino. So she told him she understood what he said and that it was poor customer service on his part and that all he could've said is he's open or closed and she could've moved on but he was being very rude. And he continued to ask my sister-in-law if she knew her mother which was said in a tone as if to threaten her. She then reported him to a so-called floor manager on duty who clearly wasn't interested and she left furios and called again today to report it. We are going back to this Hobby Lobby to file a formal complaint regarding this behavior by this particular employee who thinks name calling in his own native language, who we happen to also speak, is normal behavior for a Hobby Lobby representative. Shame on him and shame on this branch if they don't do something about his behavior. From name calling to threatening customers by who his mother is/was or whathaveyou. There more likely is only one Filipino cashier there or employee who does the register as well.

To date, they have repaired two kitchen cabinets, a disgustingly molded kitchen drywall, and termite damage in our garage. They replaced our back fence and also installed a full yard irrigation system as well as a new dishwasher. After we called several kitchen contractors when my husband set a hot pot lid down on our laminate counter and burned a nice circle in it, all the kitchen places said it couldn't be fixed, we'd have to replace the counter top. Atlantic Total Solutions looked at it and said, "sure, we'll just pour another layer of laminate over it and you're good to go." They installed a gutter after we spent years having the house get flooded every time it rained heavy and other contractors said "you must have a crack in your foundation [even though we can't find it]; we have to re-pour the foundation to the tune of thousands." Atlantic Total Solutions fixed the gutter to drain the rainwater off to one side and we haven't been flooded since, even during the hurricanes! These are the jobs I remember; I'm sure they have done others for us that I can't recall right now. These people are honest--they tell you what they can and can't do. They provide a written estimate and are right on the money. They show up when they say they will and stay until the job's done. They clean up after themselves and take all the trash away. I'm only sad that I discovered them AFTER years of dealing with dishonest, half-hearted companies that overcharged for substandard work. I cannot recommend Atlantic Total Solutions highly enough for any job, large or small, involving home repair. By the way, I have no idea why Yelp thinks I live in San Francisco; I've never even been there. I have lived in Jacksonville, FL, for 30+ years.

She made it impossible for us to enjoy each other and catch up at all! Wait! It gets worse! I live an hour away from the store. I checked the business hours, it was supposed to be open, so I drove all the way there. The store was locked, dark, and no sign indicating they were closed for an emergency. There is even a doorbell to ring "during business hours". I rang it three times. Nothing! I called the two numbers on the windows. Nothing. I text the cell number. Nothing. She finally texted the next day with some lame excuse why she didn't keep her promises business hours. I could even tell it was a huge fib! She will NEVER get my business, again.
