    Pina Colada Cocktail ($16)
    Kendall B.

This is one of my favorite bars in Baltimore!! Meander is an artsy bar that has awesome events all the time! There are art workshops, drag events, and general get togethers that make this a hub for creatives in the area. I recently went to a Drag Bingo event which is always a hoot. On non-event days, you can pay for art materials such as coloring books, clay, beading, or painting. Whenever I go, I always get a craft cocktail--my favorite is the Pina Colada--but they have a long list of interesting and diverse drinks for everyone. They even have a hefty list of mocktails for all the non-alcohol friends. On top of that, they have some small eats like fries, salads, or sandwiches if you're feeling hungry. The truffle and parm fries are delicious! Service is quick and no-nonsense. You order at the bar, and if you walk away they will call your drink so you can pick it up. If you haven't checked out this artsy gem, it's a must try!!

Awesome spot tonight hang out with friends. I met up with two friends here and we enjoyed the variety of drink - both alcoholic and mocktail selection was great. The food was delicious especially the truffle parm fries. Oh my! We also did a bracelet craft while here. It was fun to find beads and charms to use. Bartender was great!

The food was served quickly and fresh. The drink though was the real standout. A blend of creativity, figs, and unorthodox ingredients created a delectable dish for the mouth and the eyes. And the artistic interior made the experience wonderful. The staff was extremely kind and speedy. They even gave free refreshments. A wonderful gem for food, drink, and art. An amazing fusion for a memorable afternoon

Such a cute, artsy bar/restaurant in Baltimore. So glad I know about this place. Meander Art Bar has a great niche--enjoy good food while taking part in an art craft or art-centered workshop. The bartender, Matt, is so personable and introduced me to some great local spirits. Tequila is my thing, and I enjoyed a sip or two. He also made me a stellar dirty martini. I ordered their Cowboy Burger. The spice on this was great! If you're into anything artsy and you want a laid back vibe with great food options, go to Meander Art Bar!

A cute concept and a nice place to have a drink with friends after work! Stopped by to catch up with some friends and we really enjoyed our time at Meander! I think there was a jewelry making class on the day that I was there, which seems like a fun thing to do. There are several crochet kits and other things you could buy and work on while you enjoy a cocktail or mocktail! While the cocktails all look good, and certainly the cactus cooler tastes good, the price of $16 is a little steep. The mocktails cost almost as much as the cocktails, which was surprising.

I really love this bar for the ambience. Great customer service and delicious food. The steak frites and burgers are so savory and flavorful. I really enjoy the drinks. They're not too strong. The only thing I dislike about this place is the parking, parking is awful because of share with the neighborhood and it's in an upper point. Everything else is a 10 out of 10.

Ever since the former 1801 bar closed, it seems this location can't seem to hold onto a concept for long - it was an Italian spot for a hot second, a tiki place called Jungle Room which didn't last long either, but then along came Meander. And for the sake of the neighborhood and all of Baltimore, I sure hope Meander is here to stay. It's such a cute spot with a much needed concept. The idea is that you can select from a number of art kits while enjoying cocktails and food. They have everything from painting kits, beading kits, and much more. There's also plenty of art for sale from local artists, too. My boyfriend and I came by on a Sunday morning for brunch. I ordered the hash bowl which came with fried egg, smashed potatoes, caramelized onions, cheese, scallions, and a delicious serving of flavorful meat - I chose the pastrami-spiced smoked beef which was insanely good. Looking at the menu now, it doesn't appear that this option is available anymore (or maybe their brunch menu just isn't on the website?), but it was really very good. I'd definitely go back to try more of the menu! They're always doing cool events too.

Creativity is encouraged. You can even bring your own art supplies and create here if you're inclined.

I love this concept! If you're a creative, a wannabe creative, or just looking for a unique bar concept, I highly recommend this spot. The bar offers the usual suspects when it comes to cocktails but also offers its own unique variations as well as a healthy mocktail selection. The bartender, whose name escapes me at the moment, was pleasant and attentive--and created a few of the cocktails! The allure of Meander though is it's encouragement of creativity. You can purchase clay, coloring books, watercolor kits, charcoal and more to work on while you chat with your company. I also learned that they encourage you to bring your own supplies and work on your projects there. What a delight! I can't recommend enough and will certainly be back.

A local place where you can grab a craft cocktail, some delicious food, and also unleash your inner artistic abilities...I'm in love. Welcome Saunter Corner Bar, or soon to be Meander Bar, to the Baltimore community. If you have a love for arts and crafts and are looking for a great neighborhood hangout, then look no further then Saunter Corner Bar. I recently attended their Art Club Nite where you can bring whatever crafty piece you're working on and mingle with likeminded artistic people, get inspired, and learn some new things. Of course, no experience needed, so bring whatever art ability you have. I grabbed a fig mocktail and an order of some of the best fries I've had in a long while and snagged a table to work on my embroidery. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were really nice. I even met some other creatives that invited me to their table to mingle with them since I was by myself. I'm happy to have such a creative new hangout in the area. And I look forward to attending many more of Saunter Corner Bar's events or popping in to grab some brunch on the weekends.

This is the cutest spot! It's got a great mix of activities to choose from in their art bar, including bead bracelets, charcoal drawing and air dry clay. Adding to the artsy vibe, there are paintings by local artists hung on the wall (which you can buy!) and records in the corner. They have like 7 or 8 tables to sit at, a corner booth, and a long bar. Great place to come with friends, on a date, at any time of day. It got pretty busy on a Friday night with a high buzz ambiance, but not crazy loud. Plus, Meander is open almost all day - I'll likely come here for a study session some time and stay for a drink after Out of the three things I got, the pita & hummus was my favorite by far. The deep winter salad is unique, but it wasn't my favorite... it's missing something (maybe add cranberries?).

This is a cute little art bar where you can do arts and crafts and/or sit and relax with a nice drink or order food. The vibes were warm and cozy and I'd definitely come back to make something crafty next time.

Whether sitting at the bar or at their super comfy couches, it's very inviting to stay awhile. Drinks - Old Line specializes in two spirits: rum and whiskey. Don't be fooled; they have varieties of those two options in terms of aging and blending process for a grand total of five products. When I went, $15 got us a flight of every spirit they produce - and they don't skimp! I thought it would be a little 1/2 oz tasting, but this was just shy of a full shot each, so I ended up sharing with my companions. Speaking of flights, they also offer flights by style. For example, if you are more of a rum person, they have a flight of their rums as well as some from other local distilleries. Ditto for the whiskeys. A nice touch promoting competitors in the spirit of... well, spirits! The cocktails were great. I got a daiquiri - a proper daiquiri with lime and rum. Not to hate on a spiked strawberry smoothie, but this is the OG daiquiri (and the better one, IMHO). I also split the Liberty Risk, made with their Navy Strength cask rum, with my companions. They limit you to one because it is STRONG. Suffice it to say I ended up staying a little longer than originally planned. Overall, they have six regular cocktails and one or two specials. They also offer a couple of local beers on tap, but we came for the spirits. If you enjoyed the cocktails, they sell the Old Line spirits as well as some bar tools so you can try your hand at home. The prices aren't too bad for what it is and service is fast and friendly. I look forward to coming back!

I have never been splashed in the face during the shaking of a drink that was being made by the bartender. The bartender was of a different race and seemed annoyed by my presence from the jump. I had been splashed in the face twice until a customer of his race came and sat next to me. I did pay attention to his behavior while the woman was seated next to me and his drink mixing wasn't as aggressive. I had to go to the bathroom during my visit and told him I would pay before going to the bathroom so he wouldn't make any assumptions about me. I asked him to keep my drink behind the bar because the woman was still seated next to me. I came back and the woman eventually left. I was still finishing my drink and I was splashed 2 additional times. The last time I made him aware of what he was doing. His apology was disingenuous and passive aggressive. I left after this even though I had intentions on ordering desert and listening to the musicians that were about to get started. I did inform the manager about my experience prior to leaving. I'm leaving the review bc the experience still bothers me. If they have cameras at the bar I'm sure my reaction to the splashing can be observed.
