The Meayll Circle is an unusual passage grave located on the side of Meayll Hill, from where most of the South Island can be seen. But not today. The cloak of Manannon shrouded us today. If we had not had a friend with us I doubt we would have found it. It was a bout a 15 minute round trip from Cregneash Village.
The passaged tomb is estimated to be 4,000 years old.
