These reptilians have quite the bite. We recommend gripping your fishing pole tightly. Once you've had fun feeding the alligators start your 18 hole mini golf experience that is pirate themed with running water, caves, and beautiful vegetation. The greens were in good working order. The presentation of the mini golf holes were fun and we used geometry to get holes in one. Definitely recommend this place. There are also drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) for purchase as well as personalized golf balls. Sometimes there are coupons and that can help save some money. If you find yourself in Madeira Beach this is a fun option to break up your beach and pool time. Enjoy!

The people working were very helpful with sizing the clubs and finding the balls we wanted. The course is pretty big and laid out in a way that's easy to follow. The theming is also very cute with the pirates all around. The area with the gators is pretty smelly, but once you're past that it's a nice experience overall, and it's still fun to look at the gators!

Watching the performers was delightful. Even with the air lines under the water it was amazing to watch. Just being able to keep your eyes open underwater was astounding to me. We even got an extra performance for the Memorial Day holiday with a tribute to our service members. After the show they had a mermaid photo op that was donation based. After the show, I explored the rest of the park. It isn't that large but was a nice area and worth the $13 to get in. They have an area for swimming in part of the springs. I didn't bring my swimsuit but there were many people swimming and having a good time. There are some water slides too. They have a great gift shop. Loved having the opportunity to visit and see an iconic spot for mermaid lovers!

The mermaid show is the big draw from this "famous " Floridian roadside show. Once privately owned,…read moreit has now been acquired by the State of Florida. We were late for the show, because the website failed to post times and were unreachable via phone, email, or the websites frequently asked questions. We caught the last 15 minutes of the show as it runs from 11-11:30, 1:30-2pm and 3-3:30pm. It's a relatively small park. The mermaid show is cute if you have children under the age of 10 years old. Otherwise, give it a miss. Admission is $13 ea a little less for kids. 4 of us cost about $42 for entrance fees. They have a water slide that was not operating. They have a small "nature " walk. They have a boat that was not running to look at nature and they have a 30 minute animal encounter educational experience with a ranger. She showed and talked about two kinds of turtles, a snake and a small alligator. Walking around they have photo ops to look like a mermaid and after the show you have a chance to photograph yourself with a live mermaid from the show. If you have $50- $100 your kid can have a "mermaid makeover". We were at the park for maybe 1.5 hours. I suppose if the boat was running and the water slide was operating one could spend up to 3 hours. It was an interesting experience. Once is enough.

The holes are fun and challenging but totally manageable... we had a 90 year old with us and he was able to make it through all 18 holes... however the putting greens are sloped, slanted and you must watch your step. There are many spots with a bit of shade and benches are plentiful, but there are many sunny areas as well, so bring water and maybe wear a sun hat. And the icing on the cake? Live gators that you can purchase bait for and feed!! They sell water, drinks, ice cream treats, and snacks in the shop. You'll be really happy you chose this place for an afternoon adventure! We were greeted by a man who was very nice and was helpful to us with which stick to use and how to feed the alligators, tips and tricks for golf and just also a very happy well knowledge man who loves his job and has a great attitude. The place was clean and very well decorated. I loved the decorations. When we got into the actual golf, I enjoyed the signs at each hole that told us a tip, trick, par, and had a path for where we would have to put the ball if we wanted a hole in one. Each hole was different and 2 were on a ship while a couple of them were inside a cave. Overall, I really enjoyed going to this remote location and playing golf with my family. It was very creative and I would like to recommend this place to anyone who is in the area. Pretty Cool!

During the right weather in the right time of year the sky is amazing, the view over looking the water is breathtaking, and we even had a Dolphin come up out of the water right next to us during our ceremony!! The price for the venue, if you're looking for somewhere that will let you bring in your own alcohol and food, is pretty good for what you get. Especially compared to other rec centers, this is so not your average rec center. Inside are hardwood floors, floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the bay. It's true that it was a little bit too hot during the reception so I got a little more sweaty dancing than I would have liked. But they have outdoor lounge/seating areas that worked out great for the smokers crowd. The actual ceremony location is perfect - a concrete ledge that drops right off at the water, so it's like getting married at the beach without the sand! And if it rains, the ceremony can always be held in the covered outdoor area that is much less romantic than by the water, but you could decorate it up nicely if you wanted. Tyler, who orchestrates the reservations for the venue, is also very laid back but helpful at the same time making it a pretty stress free venue rental at the end of the day. We loved it and would highly recommend!
