Dr Dicken is the friendliest person there but if you talk too much he'll excuse himself from the room "for just a moment" and then a nurse will come in and say you're all set and ready to go. Leah is very nice and thorough and was so helpful. I have not had an appointment with Dr. Roach. however, my family has. The last couple times I've been at the office, I have encountered a particular person and I'm unsure if she is the same person. I talked to her once in person and the second time it was on the phone. the first time I came in and wanted to ask about a couple supplements. I had recently had an appointment with Leah and had driven over to ask about a particular supplement that I was interested in . this lady pops up out of no where and stands there and tells me I can't do that. she is really snappy and adamant about not allowing me in any way to inquire over the supplements. I was very polite , but firm and asked if I could speak to the nutritionist. she stood there behind the receptionist and denied that as well. I was very surprised at this rule she seemed well set on applying to me. I made an appointment with Leah after speaking with her. she told me I was not allowed to look at the supplements. I was shocked at this treatment, because I had been a faithful client and was also bringing them business through friends and family. I had also went to the center in the past and bought supplements that I was interested in. the lady there at that time was very helpful and friendly. later at my appointment I spoke to Leah and informed her of the situation. she told me to come to her directly the next time that happened and speak to her. she also told me I was able to buy any supplement I was interested in. she was disappointed in the fact that I had experienced this and was sorry. why would midway employ such snotty workers? and why would they allow treatment of polite , respectful clients who had questions and was interested in giving this center business and not only that , but spreading business to family and friends!? recently I had another negative experience and I'm wondering if it was with this same lady. I called the office to make an appointment. after getting my card information over the phone, the secretary informed me that I had a deficit on my account. I was sincerely unaware of this and she was pushing me to pay with the card I just gave her. I wonder if that was manipulation? I absolutely wanted to pay my bill, but I needed to ask what it was for. since the receptionist couldn't give me further information she transferred me to the accountant. As soon as I spoke to this accountant lady she was snippy and short . she immediately acted as if I was wrong for inquiring over my bill. she informed me that it was my responsibility and acted as if I had been receiving notices and was avoiding it. I didn't argue, I only asked a couple questions. I then paid my bill. she seemed disappointed that I paid, as if she wanted to argue and was wanting me to argue over the bill. again, very poor attitudes from this office and I'm thinking it's the same lady . Dr Roach are you aware of this behavior? how it dissuades business and will eventually effect you? remember one bad apple will spoil the whole bunch.

Today, Dr. Simon examined my daughter, and I understand you need to get close to do an examination, but he had his legs spread and was so close to her on the chair that her knees were touching between his legs. He stayed like this even after the examination while he was talking to me, and this made me very uncomfortable. In hindsight, I wish I had asked him to move, but was just kind of waiting for him to and he never did until the very end of the appointment. The worst part, is that while he was in that position, he asked my daughter how she got sick. She explained that she thought she got it from her best friend, a girl in her class, and he said, "I know how you REALLY got it. From your boyfriend." And leaned in towards her face and made a bunch of kissing noises. I couldn't believe he would say this to a six-year-old girl. It was wildly inappropriate. Not to mention, he grabbed my hand while it was rested on my lap while explaining my daughter's treatment to me... Until now, this has been a truly wonderful practice. I've always been happy with the treatment my daughter has received, but this situation made me so uncomfortable that I'm switching to another provider immediately.

I feel like a family member before I feel like a patient. They care, they actually care about you and the health of your teeth. Not what you can afford or your insurance covers or how much they can charge. I think Dr. Nelson is the first Dentist I've meet who actually loves their job, and that influences the staff as well. As for the actual dental work they are professionals and artist as well. Their shot administering abilities are bar none. I feel like I should press assault charges against everyone else thats ever given me a shot in my mouth compared to Dr. Nelson and Robin. I never knew it can be painless! They take their time and do things right with the least amount of discomfort to the patient. Fillings with no residual pain at all. Tooth extractions that were quick easy with little to no residual pain. On a personal note, I have PTSD and doctor visits have always been a high anxiety experience for me. But its different here. They connect with you and you can tell they genuinely care. The whole office is calm comforting and reassuring which is the perfect environment for my PTSD. Its almost meditative for me, therapeutic. Because of recent experience with this dentistry…read more I paid them $425 toward bridge work that I was originally told I would not have to pay a dime for. And insurance representative contacted me to find out why the work was not done and let me know that I was not supposed to pay anything that Broadway dentistry did not properly code the procedure therefore I was charged she even contacted them to let them know this and that the procedure was never done cannot be done because of problems that should have been identified before the bridge was molded I had to have a tooth pulled because of horrible pain and infection so the procedure could not be done, yet they still refuse to give me back my money. They have come up with every excuse in the book as the reason why they will not give me back my money. A representative from my insurance company even called them and told them that there is no legal reason for them to hold on to my money it should be given back and their manager Terry still refuse to give me back my money. Every excuse he made the representative from Aetna insurance company tore down and let him know that was not my money. I am a 63-year-old widow already struggling 425 May not seem like much to some to just throw to the wind with no results but it's not something that I can afford to just throw it to the wind with no results. And I will not silently sit by and let this company take advantage of me just because they feel they can.
