Ms. Waters calls my doctors office (which I had already done and I had no response) I don't know who she spoke with, but I heard her talking through the wall and I heard her say, "Oh well, that's not the story I got." Had an appt scheduled and accepted for my daughter (first time using the scheduler instead of just showing up) and they called and cancelled it because they said they were at capacity. There are still 2 more hours of clinic time and the website let me make the appointment and it should have been honored. Poor customer service. Previous visits when done by drop in have gone better than this so this is specifically for the scheduling and staff related to that, not the doctors. read more

I showed up at 8:15 for some meds and a doctors note so that I wouldn't fail classes from missed days, and I was told to come back at 9:30. I'm sick so I was okay with waiting a little bit just to make sure I get what I needed. When I went back inside at 9:30 I was told to basically give up on seeing them today. I have never used an Urgent Care facility before. When my wife woke up yesterday with the symptoms of her annual sinus infection she said she might need to go to the ER. I learned through my recent insurance renewal that many times an Urgent Care facility can cover what an ER would do, except at 1/4 the cost to all involved. Called the facility to make sure they were open (Sunday). Their hours are 9am to 9pm (their web site said they close at 5pm). We arrived and checked in and were triaged in less than 10 minutes. Doctor (PA) entered exam room as soon as we were moved there. I always try to attend things like this to ensure my wife gets perfect care as that is what I expect. I was completely pleased with 100% of this visit, hence the 5 stars. We were in and out of there in less than 45 minutes (not likely at ANY ER) with the diagnosis we believed in and appropriate prescriptions in hand. The facility was clean, well decorated, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the PA was very good in her bedside manner. I have nothing negative to report for our visit. I could not ask for a better experience, and I am not easy to please. I read the negative comments on here and understand every visit can go different than mine, but I am very happy with MedExpress and the care they gave my wife. I would not hesitate to go again if needed. read more

I went there today, a Sunday, for treatment for a dog-bite puncture wound. I was in & out in 1 hour. They accepted my insurance (Aetna), took a lot of info from me, got me into the nurse, and then to the doctor pretty quickly - I didn't even have time to start reading a magazine. The waiting room was empty when I arrived, a few people were there when I left, and I think there was only one doctor on duty. He moved quickly, and though I felt another of my wounds may have needed more attention (not that I'm a doctor), he was confident, friendly, and clear about what he was doing & why. I got cleaned-up, treated, got a shot & a prescription, which I filled at the Kroger almost next-door. All in all, it cost the same as a visit to my primary care physician, but without waiting & it was on a weekend. :^) read more

I went to this urgent care center today to get tested for mono, I have had symptoms of something that I haven't been able to figure out for 2 years it started out absolutely terrible, and at times I questioned if i might not get better and if it would actually kill me, but after one to 2 months it let up some but I still struggled with fatigue and week feeling arms and legs, some days better then others, three days ago I started feeling worse again someone suggested mono so I thought I might as well get tested, well the first guy that checked me in was very nice and I really liked him, but not the second guy, I wish I had thier names, but the second guy said before the test was even run that ITS NOT MONO because I've had this for two years, but mono isn't curable is it? I know it is a bit rare for it to become active again but I personally know 3 people who have it, and it has become active in two if those people again so it does happen, then he says I need to just go home and start exercising again, ummm ok yes I had told you I had before so what makes you think that I wouldn't exercise again if I was capable of it, some days it's hard to just wash dishes, some days it can be hard just to walk because of my legs hurting and feeling extremely weak, some days it can feel like a great effort just to talk, SO WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I CAN EXERCISE AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I HAVEN'T WISHED LIKE CRAZY THAT I FELT WELL ENOUGH TO EXERCISE LIKE I USED TO? I still think there is a very good chance I have mono or something very similar to it, one of the people we know that has mono used something to treat it and I will be treating the same, however I was hoping to get some sort of idea of what could be wrong with me or of some other Avenue I can check out that might lead to some answers, after all I am 26 not 80. if I hurt just from walking something is wrong, a responsible doctor would know just exercising won't make it go away, in fact it tends to make it worse, also I was exercising at the time this started like I told him and I explained how I had to keep cutting back because I didn't have the strength for it anymore, he also insinuated it could be from depression, (I'm not depressed) also depression does not cause painful joints and so many different symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and dizziness, I also think I'm smart enough to know after 2 years if I'm depressed or not, he is the worst "doctor" I've ever seen, the only reason I gave 2 stars was because the first guy that checked me in was very nice, the second guy was a big waste of my money, and time, also not sure why I had to repeat pretty much everything before he understood what I was saying he would pretty much ask a question about what I had just said and I would repeat it, did not make me feel confident in him, there are some other rude things he insinuated it could be from but I'm not going to mention them, very disappointed with my experience, just because I don't look on the outside like I've got any health issues doesn't mean I don't, it doesn't mean I don't wish every single day I could be the person I was 2 years ago before this all started, I don't go to a doctor because I like to throw my money away, and I don't like to cancel work because I don't have the energy or strength to go, that makes things extremely tight, so I don't think him giving some respect would have been to much to ask. I am very grateful to be as well as I am, but I was always one to fight and not to give up no matter what people say, I'm not ready yet to give up on getting well, and not have to push myself every day to do basic things, something is wrong, but I can get better, I won't be going back here for anything however, good service brings return customers. read more

This was by far the worse experience i've EVER had at an urgent care. I went it not being able to walk on my ankle my friend had to carry me until they put me in a wheel chair. I saw a doctor there, they took X-rays and then wrapped my ankle and put me in a bubble cast. After that they said I would need to be on crutches for a couple of weeks until I can put weight on my ankle. THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY CRUTCHES AND TOLD ME TO TRY ALL THE WALMARTS AND CVS's IN THE AREA. Yeah I mean I should have read the reviews before I came here. I just came to get covid tested. Called them and they told me to wait in the back lot. After an hour, I was fed up that other patients were getting first priority. Couldn't believe that ppl were getting tested before me even though they showed up after me. I'm not into writing bad reviews but my experience at this place sucked. Called the front desk back again and they finally explained to me that I had to schedule an appointment. They never told me that when I got there. The woman on the phone was EXTREMELY rude to me. I actually couldn't believe it, but I put up with her back to get my test. So after 3 hours I finally got my Covid test which came out as negative. The guy who tested me was respectful. I'm kindof suspicious about their testing because 4 of my close friends were exposed to 10 PEOPLE WHO TESTED POSITIVE. They all came back negative. I was fairly sick and tested negative. Went here for a Covid test this morning. We had to wait about 20 minutes on hold in the parking lot to talk to somebody but that was expected as a lot of other people arrive right as it opens at 8. However, The customer service was great. The Ladies on the phone were so nice and patient while asking questions. The person who administered the test was very nice and friendly and made the whole experience a lot less stressful. Overall, if I ever have to get Covid tested again, I'm definitely coming back here. read more

Came here for an eye injury. Very uncaring staff. They took 30 minutes to claim they couldn't verify my insurance and forced me to pay out of pocket. I finally got to see the doctor an hour later (mind you, no one else was there besides myself) and the Doctor simply said I had to go to the emergency room. So I wasted two hours basically there and ended up $113 out of pocket. Funny the hospital didn't have any problems verifying my insurance 15 minutes later. I have had 3 back surgeries. I let them know I was staying down the street and would be right there. They were out the door before they closed and just left and left me in pain. MedExpress offers the bare minimum standard of care. I waited for hours to see the doctor. He issued a pregnancy test that he didn't tell me about. It came out negative and he sent me on my way. He said that if I didn't feel better I should see a doctor (kind of why I was there). Pregnancy wasn't the concern and if it was I could have bought a pregnancy test at the drug store and saved myself 3-4 hours. Don't expect to be taken seriously at MedExpress, especially if you are a woman. If you're sick, it's probably just pregnancy. That's their "standard of care." read more

I came here after not being able to eat or drink for 24 hours. They didn't offer me water or an IV even though I was extremely dehydrated and had a fever of 103 degrees because of it. I said my symptoms, extreme body aches, fever, sore throat. they diagnosed me with mono without doing the blood test. A couple days later I went to a Patient First in another area and asked them to do a blood test, I didn't have mono. Turns out I most likely had the flu and my illness would've been a lot shorter if they had just done the proper tests. read more

I went to this location last week when traveling here for work! Let me tell you- I was honestly surprised. I got there at 0800 when they opened and was checked in quickly. From point of entry to exit it was only 35mins! The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. They even called me twice for test updates and a follow up courtesy call:) Although I hope I don't have to use their services I wouldn't mind having to go back again if I needed to. read more

The facility is clean and as beautiful as a Hilton hotel and the entire staff were very warm and respectful. Very pleased with this facility. PA Rupal Patel very professional, kind and helpful in explaining my fractured wrist; Xray techs as well. All staff friendly and helpful. Expert job applying my splint. Facility clean, including bathrooms. Wait time approx 10 mins, not too bad for 620pm arrival time. Provided me with paperwork and follow-up info for my orthopod, even gave me my Xray discs. Only problem was they turned out to be blanks (otherwise this would have been a 5-star review). Returned 2 days later to get the correct discs without hassle. read more

Stay away from MedExpress. The fees they charge for their "service" are outrageous, and the doctors immediately jump to the most extreme conclusions and are not helpful. Their actions make me seriously question their credentials. Shortly before Thanksgiving, my sister went to MedExpress and the doctor diagnosed her with mono, even though the test results would take a few days to come back. He told her to stay home from college for a week effective immediately, but did not give her a note. When the mono test came back negative, MedExpress refused to write anything indicating that they had ordered my sister to stay home. When she went to our family doctor, he confirmed that she certainly did not have mono, but instead had a bad virus. When my husband went to MedExpress a month or two ago, they charged him "after hours fees" because they did not finish the exam for his sinus infection until after 9pm. We were the only people there, but they did not take him back until 8:45--we had been waiting over 15 minutes. We were never told of any after hours fees at the time. Deciding to give MedExpress a second chance, my husband went in again for stomach issues after eating at a local restaurant--his problem is most likely a case of mild food poisoning or gastroenteritis. The doctor insisted he must have Celiac disease and wanted to order Celiac disease testing, even though the symptoms have only been present for 4 days. He wouldn't even consider the possibility that it could be anything else, much less something far less serious. My husband walked out and will be seeing his family doctor instead, but we are unfortunately out of a copay for a hack diagnosis. We will never go back to MedExpress. read more
