I postpone the frustration as long as possible. Two years ago I was pleasantly surprised to experience the customer service of Whannel's U.S. Cellular (Traer, IA) during a phone replacement. Though it was a bit out of my way, it was definitely worth it. Pleasant, knowledgeable service. I didn't feel rushed so they could get to the next customer. I felt our account was set up in the best way to maximize savings. At some point during the last two years we acquired a U.S. Cellular hotspot for home internet service. The transaction took place in a Cedar Falls, IA, store and once again, it was a frustrating process. A few weeks ago one of our phones started its death rattle. To start the education process we headed into a (different) U.S. Cellular store in Cedar Falls. I felt I had to pull information out of the salesperson. Details would surface only if we asked a question that specifically addressed an issue. I felt he was "lying by omission". I was less than happy. Then I remembered my previous experience with Whannel's U.S. Cellular. I knew where we needed to go. I called Whannel's U.S. Cellular to ask if they had the phones/colors we wanted and for the best time (empty of customers) to come in to the store. (Note: Whannel's is also the town's hardware store.) From the background-customer noise, I could tell I'd called at a busy time. He took my phone number and called me back. Yes, he had the phones we wanted. He suggested the most convenient time for us to come to the store. And, though I'd not asked, he'd researched our account before he called back and said he could save us at least $65 a month as our hotspot was on a "separate account" instead of being incorporated with our cell phone account and would also benefit by utilizing a shared-data plan. THAT'S what customer service is all about! I highly recommend Whannel's U.S. Cellular store...and they have a pretty cool hardware store too!!! Thank you! Michelle.

ID's are not requested when someone else unfamiliar picks up your child, not even a name is asked. I will NEVER take my child back there.

They share in the same joy as a parent when a child reaches a new milestone! The rooms are structured so my kids were more then ready to start school. They do lots of crafts and learning. Best of all, my kids love going so it makes drop off easy!
