They have forms in English, btw. I felt really appreciated, safe and grateful throughout the whole process. The process is very different from the one I went through in the US. First you must call the 0800 number to be screened. If all goes well you make an appointment so they can take blood samples and further interview you to ensure you're eligible to donate. If all that goes well you get a letter telling you you can donate within 2 weeks. I think it took about 1.5 months from my initial call till I got my letter. Totally worth it to help save lives :)

A huge space with a wonderful view. Nice spacious waiting areas and prik chambers. Felt safe from corona. They didn't even ask for my payment but I did set up afspraak online ahead of time. However for some reason, it toke them two weeks to inform my doctor. You want to hear something funny? Well they said that I am not allergic to anything. I think my immune system or doctor from the states would beg to differ with them, because my body goes A-wall when I eat nuts,bread, wheat, white flower, barley or eggs. So it looks like I will have to try another allergy test somewhere else.
