Make sure you're stopping at the right cart since there are a few in the area! Super quick and affordable meal! I got the combo of lamb and chicken over rice and it was perfect for a day that I was meant for jury duty. The portion is quite large and there's a soda as well. I'm pretty sure they charge more for credit card payments, likely to cover the fees they pay so just something to clarify and be aware of! I got charged more than $11 but when they first told me the price, they said it was $10. I assume it's $10 for cash and then they charge fees for the credit card payments.

My husband, sons and I went to a a Muslim Food festival today in Baltimore county and we immediately recognized the Mediterranean Halal Food Cart. This is my husband favorite place to get his gyros and they definitely have the best gyros I've tasted in Baltimore. The completely overstuff the gyros. My eldest son could barely finish his. I had the chicken over rice and only made it through half of the platter. The chicken was so tender and seasoned amazingly. All of the ingredients were fresh and nice and tasty. If you're looking for one of the best gyros in Baltimore, the Mediterranean Halal Food Cart has got you covered!

Chicken Over Rice bowl with extra hot sauce and white sauce - SO DELICIOUS.

Omg I love this food truck with my whole heart. Chicken over rice is my go-to meal always, and they did not let me down. They heap on the chicken (it's 2 meals for me), the chicken is flavorful, it's freaking cheap for the amount they give you, and it's soooo good. I ask for extra white sauce and red sauce (spicy!) and it's amazing. I'm brown and Muslim, so my halal food opinion matters, too (lol). Definitely would recommend. It's located in the trifecta corner outside of Power Plant (choosing between this place, Poyoteca, and Kabul is incredibly difficult, but I don't think there's a wrong decision to be made).

Mixed (lamb & chicken ) over rice

I have to say this is one of the best Halal Chicken/Lamb carts I have visited. I have been ordering from them for a long time and while some other places have reduced quality or portion size after Covid- they are still amazing. The rice is also top notch. Pick up or delivery- you can't go wrong. Worth the money!

I haven't really been down to Baltimore to much but I think that's gonna change. This food cart is goat (greatest of all time). The price point and quality of what you order is superb. I've gotten the combination over rice with white sauce 4 times in 4 days and I'm still not tired of it (red sauce was tasty but way too spicy for me). I feel like I could eat the tender lamb and flavorful chicken everyday, and the white sauce makes it over the top good. The rice is cooked very well and the lettuce/tomatoes are fresh. Regarding the meat, they don't skimp at all and that is why they'll get my business if they come into my field of vision. Please note that it is pretty carb heavy meal. To me, it's a sacrifice I'll make up for in the gym.

Gyro. Yes it's messy, but messy good.

I know. one look at the pic you're automatically thinking: Holy shit. That is one messy ass meal. And, you're probably right, so be careful while eating it, but damn me if it's messy, the food was absolutely great. When I think of food carts back then, I automatically think of what... yep. Hot Dogs. Nowadays, you have some amazing food coming out of food carts, and Mediterranean Halal Food Cart is one of those places. Why you may ask? First, the amount of food is absolutely enormous. Look at what I got. Yeah, and then add on top the price of what it all was? I would be coming here almost every day if I worked here, but sadly I don't. I was here for work, and this was the only day that I was going to be in Baltimore. I got lunch and then went back to work, but it was absolutely great. I got a salad along with a gyro, and it was just stacked. The location of the cart was great, and at the same time it was quick. This place is an obvious grab and go type of food and it shouldn't change. Not much else to it. It's great food with amazing flavors and it's very filling. I would suggest to order one thing, as I ordered two things and it was a bit too much (I still finished though, regretting when I exercised it off later on though!)

Lamb chicken mix! Look at how much they give you!!

Great halal food right down the street from the hospital! Hard to beat good food, large portions, and cheap price! This place is located on the corner of a street so parking might be tough. I usually just park on the side and get my food since it doesn't take long to prepare. I always order lamb and chicken mix whenever I get halal. Lamb is always flavorful and my favorite meat to get at any halal place. What sets this apart from others is their chicken is also delicious. I'm usually not a fan of chicken at other halal places but it's great here. Their halal sauce and the spicy sauce on top are also delicious! All that for a grand total of $7! This cart has some delicious halal food and you should definitely stop by if you're in Baltimore!

$7.00 Mixed (chicken & lamb) over basmati rice and fresh salad. Gyro and hot sauce drizzled on top

For lunch I ordered the Mixed platter (chicken & lamb) served over rice and salad. Uber Eats brought the food and it was nice and hot. Both the chicken and lamb were cooked nicely, neither was over cooked or dry. The white and red sauce came on the side in separate containers. The amount of food provided is plentiful especially for only $7.00 a platter. The overall flavor of the dish is amazing. I definitely look forward to ordering from here again.

I think I came here but it's all a blur

You say goodbye, and I say Halal. Halal, Halal. I don't know why you say goodbye, I say Halal. What to get: Combo with all the sauces Why: Because before it makes you run to the bathroom, it'll make you run in circles screaming "yummy yummy in my tummy." Actually if you do that, the Baltimore PD will probably shoot you, but you know what I mean. NYC is famous for Halal Carts, and now they're popping up in other cities around the country. Philly and DC, to name just a couple. Some of the newbies are pretty awful, but this one is excellent. It would go cart-to-cart (I was going to say toe but Carts don't have toes) with most of the better NYC ones. It's significantly better than the ones I've tried in Philly, and as for the famous "Halal Guys", don't get me started. This is much more enjoyable, and closer to the level of Sammy's Halal or King Of Falafel & Shawarma or Zaiqa (all 3 are in Queens). Or Rafiqi's or Tony Dragonas of Manhattan. Not to mention the guy serving was doing so without any power, and still managed to concoct me a delicious combo. I enjoyed every bite, more than most meals I've had in Baltimore. It's right next to the concert venues and the inner harbour, so it's the perfect place to grab a juicy spicy meal that is absolutely awful for you. I don't know what the Halal the negative reviews are on about, it's just good.

Got a lamb gyro ($9). It was OK, pretty standard. Lots of sauce. I've had better. OK in a pinch. Food came out superfast.

I visited the Dizzy Cow today on my lunch break. This was my second time having their pizza and I swear every time I order, I am on a diet. Good thing they have menu items that are a bit healthier. During both visits, I ordered the Frenchmen which includes mozzarella, brie cheese, figs, and a honey drizzled on top. Now, going back to my first point, I typically don't like wood-fired pizza because from past experience, the dough on the bottom has a burnt taste. While the Frenchman still had the wood-fired flavor, thankfully it was missing the burnt taste. All in all, the pizza is very tasty and I definitely wouldn't mind giving other menu items a try one day. The service was also very fast and friendly, which is important during a short lunch break!

I added cashew cheese once I got back to my apartment. Overall the pizza was delicious.

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

We had an earlier dinner reservation so it wasn't as crowded at the beginning but was quite busy at the end. We tried a couple different cocktails and I loved both of mine - Ashta Affair and Asfar So Good. The Ashta Affair was sweet and creamy and the Asfar So Good was deliciously refreshing. My friend really enjoyed his Old Fashioned Date and had a fun experience trying the El Massaya Arak. For appetizers, we ordered Muhamara and Mousakhan Chicken Rolls. The Muhamara came with pita and was such a great dip. The chicken rolls were equally as good with their own sumac labneh dip we enjoyed. For entrees, we shared the Braised Lamb Shank and Makloubeh. The portions were large and the meat was tender. Neither were over seasoned and were absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all and saved the rest for leftovers - yum! We wanted to try their dessert and ending up getting the Ashta Bil Asal and Ruz Bil Karaz. The Ashta Bil Asal had cotton candy which made it a fun dessert to try and the Ruz Bil Karaz had a great caramelization coating. Neither were overly sweet which we preferred. It was such a great ending to our meal. I absolutely loved my experience here. Our server, Miriam, was friendly and attentive. We even chatted with the GM, Iman, who also made sure we were provided a great first experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who's looking for a boujee but amazing time!
