I struggle to understand all the 5 star reviews here. I had the chicken wrap and the hummus. The wrap was tasty, but so thin for the price. The hummus was absolutely awful and inedible. The bread that came with it was bland and tasted like cardboard. I had one bite and unfortunately, because we were doing take-out, had to just toss it and lose the money. This menu focuses on traditional Turkish foods that were well done, and very flavorful! I got the Koobideh Kebab which was a Single skewer of char-grilled ground beef served with rice, sumac onions, pickles with cacik and green sauce that could be adjusted for spiciness. They offered a wide range of toppings. I just asked the server for her recommendations and she made some great suggestions! The rice was very well done, not dry. The kebab was flavorful and cooked just right. The portion was generous. One plus was that they used composite containers that can be used to reheat leftovers in the microwave. Overall I can highly recommend this restaurant. Seating is limited as they are really more at up for takeout. read more

We loved this place! It's in an unassuming, slightly faded strip mall, but don't let that fool you. We had the koobideh (lamb) and kafta (chicken) kebab platters. The kebabs were delicious - well spiced, hot, and fresh. They were each served on seasoned rice with veggies (different for each type of kebab), cacik (yogurt), and a yummy sauce drizzled over top. Well, after a day of dragon boat racing and 2 dogs in the car we decided that we needed some dinner on the drive home. The boy was not enamored with pho on this trip and the route we had taken didnt take us past the place so this ended up as a result of a google search of nearby restaurants. Having not had good luck previously with the persian place by the house, i was a bit leery but i'm always up for a good Mediterranean place. The boy ended up with a chicken wrap and I ended up with the Turkish bowl. Yum! This was an amazing find and a great new spot. They make the bowls/wraps right in front of you (well the toppings part.. the meat part is done in the back cooking area). They were very helpful with the menu items and all the sauces that they had. They had a couple of tables but there were many folks coming in for takeout orders. If i'm in the Hagerstown area, I will definitely add this to the list of places that go into consideration. read more
