Generally it goes pretty well but this time My Driver (Joshua) was over an hour late and then told me a couple of times he was just hanging next door at the other building! Then we got on the road and I could tell by his speed he wasn't going to slow down down to go under the underpass where the trains go! It was Rough!!! Then we got on the highway and it was really fast!! Maybe he was trying to make up for the hour he was late!! But because of him I was almost 2hours late for work!!! They even have a stretcher aid van service for Patients simply stretcher bound to critically ill patients requiring advanced life support monitoring. First, this is a medical transport company so health should be at the forefront. The drivers smoke, now that is disgusting in itself, but to smoke when you are in the medical business? to smoke while there are ill people in your care? MedRide ruined my daughter's wedding and destroyed my mother's hopes!!!!! They were to deliver my wheelchair bound mother at 3:00 for my daughter's 3:30 wedding so she coukd visit with my daughter before the ceremony. Not only did she not get there early, SHE DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL 3:50!!!!!. She has been staying alive just for this event. They have stolen something that can never be replaced. They even tried to blame by mother, even though four witnesses at the assisted living watched her wait and wait, watching the clock, helplessly waiting for someone to come get her. The driver's GPS sent her to a different location and she'd never been to my town before but she called and after some laughter, we got her to my house! Victoria was a total joy to talk to and she still got me to my appointment early! Would definitely recommend Victoria and Medride! Love their GPS tracking and updates, too. Very convenient! read more
