This one was close to my work and on a whim decided to try them. They were fantastic! I brought in a jacket and one other item to be dry cleaned. They called me a day earlier then I needed it saying it's ready, 3 day turn around. The owner is so sweet, she had a nice conversation asking how I found them and saying that she hopes I'll come back. They did a great job with the clothes, it was easy in and out experience and the clothes were pristine. The price was pretty on par too, not too expensive, but in the middle. Definitely going to be a regular! Plus their hours are great for me to come after work or weekends.

My clothes have always come back clean, tidy and priced reasonably for services rendered. I also use them for large bulky items that need to be commercially cleaned (i.e. down duvets, small area rugs, down coats). Any particularly stained areas are examined closely upon receipt, marked with a sticker, and given special care and attention during cleaning. In over a decade of regular patronage, they have never lost or misplaced any of my items. I would also like to give a special shout out to Mr. Lee, their on-site tailor. I work in the clothing industry, and know how valuable it is to have a good tailor in your arsenal of professionals. I can't tell you how many times I've taken an item to Mr Lee to nip in a waist, shorten a hem or sleeve, put a dart in a shirt -- it makes a massive difference on how off-the-rack, inexpensive items fit. He may not speak English very well, but he certainly understands fit, and with Alice's help, any consultation regarding alterations goes smoothly. Their parking lot is tiny - room for only 2 cars - and sometimes during the busy rush hour on Lesmill Road, it can be challenging to get in and out. But that's not their fault ! and it's a testament to how many people in the 'hood use their services. I trust Bayview Cleaners with my wardrobe 100%.

Will not go anywhere else. The woman with the blonde pixie cut and glasses, is such a pleasure to deal with. Getting my clothes and coats dry cleaned is such a drag but whenever I come in, I always leave in a good mood. I'm not sure what her name is (the pixie cut woman with glasses, perhaps the owner?) but she is so sweet and HONEST. I recently came to get my winter coat dry cleaned. It was brand new and had only been through half a winter. She took a good look at it and told me I really didn't need to get it dry cleaned. She explained it looked fine and to wait. She saw one little mark and took care of it on the spot with a spot treatment. I really didn't feel it needed dry cleaning either but was just doing my due diligence, as I get my winter coats dry cleaned right before the cold weather begins. I appreciate that she was honest, as that saves me money for now! If you get a chance to speak with this woman, she is super friendly and easy to talk to. Great customer service! She has impressed me with her seamstress skills on numerous occasions. It's a tiny shop with her sewing machine, aquarium, til and pickup/drop-off all in one spot where she sits at her tiny desk. That means efficiency and it shows with the quality of the work, and timeliness of it. Off in the other corner is a curtain hanging where you can change and get her to check out what needs to be done to your garment. Dry cleaning is sent out somewhere else making this spot where the alterations are done. And make sure you tip her well because the prices are so cheap.

I've only had it a little over a year, and it was in excellent condition, no stains, no holes, nothing. When I brought it in, the woman working there insisted on charging me an extra $16 to "repair" the zipper because there were a few loose threads. She said it needed to be fixed before cleaning to prevent damage. It was literally just a loose thread, but I paid it anyway. I dropped my jacket off on Monday, and the pickup date they gave me was Thursday at 5 PM. I went to collect it, and suddenly my coat wasn't there. She told me to come back the next day. I said okay and called the following day to confirm it was ready before coming in. That's when I was told some nonsense story that my jacket had a stain and needed to be re-cleaned. My jacket had no stain when I brought it in, so what are you talking about? Then she told me to come back Monday. I told her that was impossible because it was -6°C, snowing and raining heavily, and this is my winter coat. I needed it by the next day at the latest. After that, I was given yet another story, this time that the delivery driver couldn't deliver because of the rain. None of this made any sense. I then asked for the store manager's number, and she refused to give it to me. Instead, she tried offering 50% off my next service but there will absolutely NOT be a next time. This morning (Saturday) she finally called to say my coat was ready. When I went to pick it up, I saw that the hardware on my all-black jacket is now completely scratched, to the point that it looks silver instead of black. When I pointed this out, she had the nerve to tell me I brought the jacket in like that and that there was nothing she could do about it. So after keeping my coat two extra days, giving me multiple false explanations, refusing to give me the manager's contact, and damaging my jacket, they still refused to take any responsibility. Terrible service from beginning to end. Zero accountability. And to the business responding to other reviews claiming customers are "scamming" you, trust and believe I have all the time in the world. People deserve to know exactly how this business operates. Don't bother trying to delete this review either, because I will just post another one.
