Decided to try out Meet U BBQ to change up the usual Joy Dumpling meal. Three of us ordered quite a bit: chicken skin (2) $1.99 beef skewer (4) $5.99 chicken cartilage (2) $3.99 pork intestine (2) $3.99 taiwaense sausage (1) $3.99 chicken feet (4) $4.99 lamb skewers (4) $5.99 trotters $6.99 tofu skin roll with enoki (2) $4.99 eggplant $5.99 scallops (2) $4.99 spicy and sour vermicelli $7.99 egg fried rice with sausage $8.99 smashed cucumber salad $5.99 stir fried a choy with garlic $11.99 sapporo $4.99 ea I thought food and flavors were ok. nothing really popped out for me. I had recently had skewers in Vegas which had better value and taste than here. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the meal though. Overall, I thought for the value, it was ok but food wise, nothing really stood out. Some items were not too great like the the veggies and rice. Parking can be tough during peak hours.

If you only get skewers, Meet U BBQ is honestly not that great. However, if you explore the menu a bit and try some of the main dish options, they actually have some fantastic options! The restaurant also has a complimentary side bar with fresh shrimp chips, marinaded chicken feet, ai yu jelly, sliced oranges, and more. Parking is easy, but the restaurant actually gets pretty busy with every table filling up by 5:30 PM for a weekend dinner. Garlic Grilled Fish (4.25/5): The fish was perfectly cooked: super tender, super garlicky, and even managed to still have some crispy skin. This dish was definitely the highlight for me and definitely worth going out of your way for. Comes with a plethora of vegetables underneath the fish that soak up all those delicious flavors as well. Foil Pig Brain (4/5): This was my first time having pig brain and it's almost like eating spoonfuls of foie gras doused in chili oil. Insanely rich and decadent, but pretty good! Skewers: Overall, the skewers were actually my least favorite part of my experience. They are kind of pricey and don't come with a ton of meat on them. - Chicken Feet (2/5): Overly seasoned with cumin and much too gelatinous for the format. - Chicken Skin (2.5/5): Crispy enough, but ate a bit too greasy. - Pork Neck (3.75/5): My favorite of the skewers - decently tender and good flavor.

I've been here twice. The first time, we tried a variety of skewers and one grilled fish with golden broth, plus some instant noodles on the side. Some of the skewers were a bit cold when they came out, but overall the flavors were really solid. The fish was big, juicy, and tender, and the noodles soaked up all that delicious broth--so good! They also give out some free side dishes, and I especially loved the cold white fungus dessert soup--it was super refreshing after all the grilled food. The second time, we just had the grilled fish with garlic broth and added instant noodles again. Unfortunately, this visit was kind of a miss. The broth was way too oily--it made everything, including the noodles and added veggies, almost inedible. That said, their service is consistently good, and I'd still consider coming back to try other flavors.

Our friend C spotted this place while getting bubble tea from TP Tea. He said he walks to this complex often on the weekends and saw this place and wanted to try it so he invited us. And I have to say it was a good find. The restaurant is pretty spread out, tables are not pushed too close together and ordering is easy from the phone. You scan a QR code and order on the ordering site. You order as much as you want and then when you're done, you hit "check out" and the wait staff bring your bill. The skewers are all amazing. It reminds me of both the skewers you find in Beijing and in Taiwan. It's that spiced meat smell and just whatever they marinade or cook it in makes it taste delicious. It's not just meat they have; they also have seafood and vegetables so if you're not a meat eater, there's vegetables to choose from. They also have Mantou (which is bread) you can order. The skewers themselves are not particularly filling but I guess that's a good thing because you just feel sick from overeating. I would return to eat here and I encourage everyone to give it a try at least once.

My boyfriend and I ate here this past sunday for lunch and the service here was amazing. It was colder rainy day, so when we sat down, we were offered hot water. There is also a snack bar available with things like seaweed salad and chips. We tried the beef skewers, lamb skewers, beef tongue skewers, oyster mushroom skewers, enoki mushroom skewers, postage skewers, rice cake, and the egg fried rice. Overall, the flavors are good, but they do like to use a sweeter sauce to coat the non-meat items, which my boyfriend didn't like so much. So be aware if you don't like sweater taste. I find the food pretty good, the sweater sauce balanced out the spiciness. However, I would say the food is on the pricier end for the amount of food we got.

New spot for bbq in Cupertino and I knew I had to try it out! Overall, it was a great experience with yummy skewers and grilled fish. We went early for lunch on Saturday, so there wasn't a lot of people. Food came pretty quickly at first, but as the store filled up the second round of skewers we ordered came a lot slower. Skewers (5/5): There's a large variety of skewers, from beef, lamb, and chicken to vegetables and toast. They all tasted great! If you order off of the QR code, they come spicy but the waitress also told us to order off of a laminated physical menu if we wanted anything non-spicy. Golden broth grilled fish (5/5): The fish was grilled to perfection and the broth was very flavorful. It was mildly spicy as advertised. Definitely would order again!

Came here for lunch with a group of 6 and honestly, we had such a fun time. There's a bar where you can grab some starters such as chicken feet, chips, fruits, and desserts. The menu has a great selection and ordering was really easy using the phone QR. Definitely very easy to over order. The food came out really quick too, so excellent service. The flavoring on the meats were all the same so you'll leave with a strong taste in your mouth of their dry rub but it's quite good. Order the scallops if you like garlic!

The barbecue was served quickly, with free fruits provided. The venue is spacious and bright, and the oranges are incredibly sweet. It's the perfect spot for a late-night snack.

Bad.. bad bad the skewers are salty and spicy and also the meat are small only a few pieces on the skewer not worth the price. Also can't believe the add a business charge without telling me. Then I paid extra.. so no more for me at this store.

BEWARE SHADY BUSINESS TAKES UR MONEY BY AUTO ADDING BUSINESS FEE! They don't even let you know about this fee so you can give them tip. food was so salty, saltier than the ocean and so spicy, spicier than the mf ghost pepper. choose your struggle you can't be both and still be open. ambiance wise loud obnoxious music which overstimulates you and the servers all look confused when handing food to you since they're not even sure themselves if the food is for you. will not be coming back ever and hope people know about this shady fee.

The atmosphere is impressive enough to make you want to some money. Judging by how packed the restaurant was, nobody else seemed worried either. They must be doing something right. The food was outstanding and matched by equally excellent service. Every dish was high quality and beautifully prepared. Of course, I may be a little biased because I didn't have to pay. Food always tastes even better when someone else picks up the bill. My only disappointment was the restroom. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected a little more luxury. There wasn't the urinal ice I've seen at some high-end restaurants, and there were no extra amenities like floss picks, mouthwash, or premium paper towels. One thing to know before you go: they don't accept same-day reservations, so plan ahead. If you're looking to impress someone--whether it's a date, client, or family member--this is the place. At first, our server was very nice and friendly, gave us refills on banchan and explained everything thoroughly. When it came to payment, her entire personality shifted. She followed us outside and exclaimed "Was my service bad? Why is the tip so low?" "I don't know" was not an acceptable answer for her as she looked at us, presenting the receipt. While waiting guests stared on, she expected all of us to empty our wallets and give us cash until some of us said we had no more cash to give. After that, she didn't even bother to say thank you. She turned around and went back into the restaurant. For transparency, we initially tipped 20% on a $400 bill. We were embarrassed, angry, and felt humiliated. The staff should be grateful that customers even tip at all. 20% is more than enough - they should charge gratuity if they think otherwise. We could have turned around and left her waiting but felt we had to tip anyways due to her aggression. To follow us out of the restaurant and demand more money was unacceptable. 10 Butchers is already overpriced as it is. Search "tips" on the Yelp Page for 10 Butchers. This same scenario has been going on for months; with someone experiencing this same incident weeks ago, it's clear there is no change being made internally. Take your family and money elsewhere. There are plenty of KBBQ restaurants in the South Bay.

For $18.99, you get your choice of two proteins, rice, salad, and miso soup, which is a pretty generous meal for the price. We all upgraded to the premium proteins for an extra $6 each. We tried both the short ribs and the ribeye. While the short ribs were good, I actually preferred the thinly sliced ribeye--it cooked quickly, stayed tender, and had great flavor. One pleasant surprise was the salad. It wasn't just an afterthought; it was fresh, well dressed, and honestly as good as the side salads served at many Japanese restaurants. The miso soup was also solid and rounded out the meal nicely. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the s'mores dessert. At $3, you get one small rectangle of Hershey's chocolate, one marshmallow, and two graham crackers. The portions are tiny, and if you have kids, they'll almost certainly want more than one. By the time you order enough to make everyone happy, it doesn't feel like much of a value. Overall, this isn't the best Japanese BBQ I've had, but that's not really the point. It's a consistently good, affordable meal with quality ingredients and generous portions for the price. If you're looking for a satisfying lunch that won't break the bank, Kura's lunch special is an easy five-star value.
