Meg-A-Latte is one of the best coffee shops I've been to, and I've been to a lot!! I was in Williston for a curling event and my team and I needed a spot for wifi and coffee between games. This was PERFECT! We even went to all 3 locations just to compare! They each have their own cute qualities. The one downtown (13th St) would probably be my favorite, it was the most homey. The one in New Hope (26th St) is adorable too, but the third one, farther from downtown, has live music on Saturday's and it's the most modern rustic one of the three, so cute!! Overall, can't go wrong. Great Americano, great Carmel Macchiato. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Williston! read more

Finally a place with some atmosphere in Williston! It is such a nice respite to walk into such a relaxing environment after dealing with living in a "Boom Town." The coffee and snacks here are tasty. They have all the basic coffee and tea drinks and then a handful of specialties as well. Also, maybe I am a little persnickety but I hate when you try to take a sip of your coffee and you find that it is the equivalent temperature of Mt. Great little spot in Williston. Nice find away from all of the standard maxwell house type coffee that the rest of the town seems to offer. Great staff who cares about their brew. The lattes were good, though a bit heavy on the milk side. The pour overs were also decent but limited. Not a lot of different roasts you can choose from here (though I wouldn't expect too much from the area, not a huge thriving coffee scene). read more

The coffee shop decor is inviting and modern. Service is slow. The coffee is ok. The girls that work in the morning are not friendly, at all. Seems as though they dont want to be there. Theyre like this with every single customer, at least when Ive been there.Only reason I keep going back, is because the girl with the short, dirty blond hair, has a great ass!!! :p If they would step up their game and be a little more friendly, I'd give them 5 stars. read more

We really enjoy having this place to stop for a quick coffee break. They know the difference between a cappuccino & a latte & often as we walk thru the door they ask if we want our usual & have them ready for us when we reach the till. Pros: New Hope Church has a playground. The church, not the coffee shop. Cons: Horrible service, the line is always long and takes forever to move because no one behind the counter knows what they are doing. Then, when you do get your coffee the shots are ALWAYS burnt, and it's either crazy bitter (in a bad way) or way too sweet to even taste the burnt shots. The owner, Meg Wold, does not train her baristas properly because she doesn't know how to make coffee herself and yet she calls her product 'gourmet'. She is a terrible excuse for a business owner. High prices that are constantly going up without warning, the barista didn't inform me that they raised their prices until I went to pay and the drink was already in front of me. Did I mention it's $4.15 for a small latte? That is two shots of espresso, 4oz of milk, and maybe two pumps of service. I get shots, just 2 shots is $1.95. Where does she even come up with that? Because to add an extra shot is $0.40, but somehow just two shots over ice is $1.95. I don't think she has any idea how to even build a menu. But it would make sense, because she can't run a business to begin with. Yes, this is Williston, but that is no excuse to rip people off with horrible product and unacceptable service. If you don't know how to run a business, you shouldn't own a business. If I had to guess, I would say that her wealthy daddy pays to keep it going. I guess coming from a rich family has it's benefits. Tip for Meg: hire some people that know what they are doing, and sell your shop before you are run out of business by people that actually know what they are doing. read more

I recently had my neighbor get me a "Large Chai Breve hot w/no whip". It was written down and she showed it to the barista who looked confused like she didn't have any idea what that meant. She asked my friend.... Who knows nothing about chai...if I wanted spiced chai? Huh? Isn't that what chai is? I order this almost every day at all different kinds of coffee shops, and I have never met a barista that is confused about that order. I ended up with a chai that was much spicier than I am accustomed to. It was actually pretty good if you like that kind. And that's ok, but if ya'll have a less spicier chai then you should have made me that one, going by what I had written down. If that's all you have then say so. I will be trying other coffee shops in town to see if I can get just a regular "hot chai breve" without all of the confusion. Better yet... I ordered what I need on Amazon to make my own. read more

The coffee prices have gone up several times, the machines seem cheap as I never get consistent tasting coffee. I think it would have been a better investment to get better machines than to keep opening new stores. Most of the girls are very nice. I heard if you get a bad drink you need to have the same girl remake it which I think is not legit, as she probably isn't that good at pulling shots, why would I want her to remake my drink and most of the time have it taste the same - when there are other girls that are really good on the machines and know when shots will taste good or not. I went there a few weeks ago to give it another try and when the girl handed me my coffee, there was caramel all over the outside of my cup so I had sticky hands and a sticky car - not impressed. Lately the shots have all been burnt, glad I found 3 bean espresso! read more

The place has nice art work, but that's all it has. The very unpleasant barista seemed to not understand me when I said I wanted a light roast...Am I in a coffee shop or what? She finally understood my request and with an attitude informed me they had only one type of roast. After tasting my coffee, I found out their only one roast was terrible. On top of it, the wifi signal is really low, so I couldn't get in a better mood by going on the internet. Bad service, bad coffee, bad internet. I prefer Meg-a-latte's coffee over any other joint in this town. I highly recommend them for that reason. BUT I have quit going there as often due to price fluctuations. Most recently, I ordered 3 shots with a 'splash of cream'. For this drink- I paid $3.82. Can you believe that?!! That's over $1/shot..... I did not order any syrups or any such thing- just a simple 3 shots.... Yikes! read more

I used to love getting my coffee here but suddenly the coffee that I have been ordering for the past 3 years jumped up 45% with no warning. My coffee hasn't changed, I haven't added anything to it, it's exactly the same thing I got yesterday but instead of it being $2.94 suddenly it's $4.31. That's a huge inflation! Not to mention service is not what it once was and they always new girls who don't have a clue what they are doing back there. Not impressed. read more
