An attorney background with a passion and an eye for detail as well as a depth of insight about the market make her the top choice. We worked with her in the early 2000s and when it came time to come back to Sewickley from out of state, we came back to Kathe.

We felt communication from Kathe was often unclear and slow, which was especially difficult given that elderly parents were involved and family members were assisting from out of state. We requested a meeting to review our concerns, but were informed by Kathe that she was on vacation at the time. Shortly after we asked whether her office could assist in addressing the ongoing issues, the listing was withdrawn and we were informed the contract had been cancelled before we had the opportunity to meet or review corrections. From our perspective, this sequence of events added confusion during an already stressful situation. Overall, we felt the process lacked clear communication and collaboration and became more difficult to navigate than expected. Based on our experience, we would not work with this individual again.

Our home was listed, and wanting to sell we decided to put the price at the lower end of his recommendation range, trying to ensure it would not sit. Within 4 days he wanted us to lower the price by $10,000 because of only 2 showings. We did not feel great about this and felt this was too soon, but he pushed, so we agreed to lower by $7,000. Within a week we had 1 awful offer and one for asking. We accepted the one for the asking price. Now it was time to find our new home. We picked a day we could both get off work. He said he couldn't show us houses that entire day because he was taking his 2 dogs to a grooming appointment. We found our home through a different realtor in his office. Bobby made the offer and it was accepted. Here's where things take a turn. He said he took care of our earnest money going where it needed to go. He didn't. He told us he got permission from our seller so we could move in up to a couple days early. He didn't. We told him when our movers were coming and he was pushing to have the sellers do our walk through at the same time our movers would be moving our belongings out of the home. Everything was in writing via text messages. When the messages were copied back to him, he spun out of control. Messages became rude and unprofessional on his end. We didn't know how to respond to him. We decided to have another realtor from his company intervene. John Perry stepped in and was very professional and completed the rest of the communication and tasks. We would not recommend using Bobby West as a realtor.

Scott guided us through he whole process was very patient with us and explained everything without over explaining. He helped us at every step of the way was always quick to reply and easy to contact and kept us informed. Scott also had great contacts through him he helped us pick a quality mortgage broker, home inspector and everything else we needed for the process. Scott was also extremely knowledgeable about the houses we toured and was able to point out things I never would have noticed or known to ask about. He was able to adapt as we figured out what kind of houses we were actually interested in and guide us to more like what we wanted. We toured a lot of houses and made two offers in our Journey and Scott was reassuring communicative and effective the entire way. Every weekend he would set us up to tour homes with an itinerary and a plan also including and getting us information on homes we found ourselves that we liked. Scott was a great Value as a realtor but more importantly to me he was just a very good person. I felt like i could trust him to actually have mine and my Wife's interests at heart. I never felt pressured by him and the man knew how to make us feel comfortable in the strange situation. He was easy to talk to without it ever feeling awkward or like an obligation even on our 10th or 12th house toured. He was fun to talk to while keeping us on track through all the tours and making good use of our time. He helped us weigh the pros and cons of the places we visited and helped us understand everything through his knowledge and experience. I'd highly recommend this group and Scott in particular if you are in the process of buying a house.

Needless to say our expectations were high. Robyn set an aggressive but fair asking price and we recently sold our home and were extremely pleased both with the sales price and with Robyn's time and expertise in handling the transactions. We had about 15 to 20 showings and multiple offers. Robyn did an excellent job of communicating, advising and representing our financial interests. On several occasions we discussed how pleased we were that our real estate agent actually seemed to care about our financial interests and not just having the property sold. She is smart, honest and hard-working. I would trust and recommend using her professional services again. Thank you Robyn!

We list and sell homes in Sewickley, Sewickley Heights, Sewickley Hills, Edgeworth, Glen Osborne, Leetsdale, Bell Acres, Glenfield, Haysville, Aleppo Township and Leet Township, which together make up the Quaker Valley School District, and we work with buyers in Wexford, Franklin Park and Moon Township as well. For sellers, that means pricing against what is actually selling on your street rather than a district-wide average, renovation and staging decisions made in the weeks before launch rather than after, professional photography, and a marketing plan you see line by line before anything goes live. For buyers, it means someone who can tell you why two houses a street apart carry very different prices, taxes and drive times, and who will say so when a house is the wrong one. Relocation is a large part of the work. Families move here for the schools, usually deciding on a single weekend visit, and we spend that weekend on how the eleven municipalities actually differ rather than on listings alone.
