Checked out website. Seemed like reasonable pricing. Emailed photos of hurricane sliding door…read morelock I sought to get repaired. No answer to 2 emails. Follow up call answered. I sent the photos again. Visit scheduled for next day. Twice I warned to arrive at community off of Federal Highway due to security gatehouse access. Tech could not find gatehouse. One hour late. 3 minutes into visit, tech says "I don't have that lock", which must be replaced. Why couldn't you see that with photos I sent? Quoted $550 with next day install. Also tried to upsell another $400 to $500 repair/replace of sliding rails. Willing to negotiate on that price if I did it same day. If you go to their website, you will see nothing about this price range. By the way, it took 15 minutes the next day to install the new lock. Tech would not tell me the manufacturer of the lock so I could research warranty. Something is fishy. A simple search may indicate the replacement lock was probably not even 1/2 this cost but how would I know if the contractor will not tell me the part he is installing? I gave 2 stars because the door is working now. I did NOT pay to fix the sliding rail, which is clearly worn and crooked. I also called the owner who referred me to this contractor, he said he didn't know the part and would ask the installer.
