Proce are a good deal, very good flavor and very nice staff. I only gave 4 star because the place needed more detail cleaning, the floor and some of the windows were very dusty. I was actually heading to Subway when I noticed this place so I figured I'd try it out. Since it was a sandwich I figured it wasn't the end of the world if it sucked. It's your typical lunch spot with a few tables and a board of items behind the counter. I decided to go with the first item on the menu- the Italian sandwich. I liked the bread it was on, I thought it tasted great, and it was one of the better ones that I have had. It's just one experience but I'll definitely want to check it out again to see if the other sandwiches compare. What I didn't like is that all the tables were dirty. My co-workers and I call this place "Mega potato" instead of mega subs because we always get the baked potatoes. All the classic toppings are available, my favorite is the mega potato with all the fixin's (cheese, bacon, sour cream, chives). The fried zucchini is delish and the mozzarella sticks, BUT THEY ARE HOT, like LAVA. So let them cool. I'm not a fan of cold subs in general but these definitely are MEGA. I think this is the definition of "hole-in-the-wall". It needs paint and probably the vents cleaned...but when I need a quick lunch that isn't typical fast food, the sandwiches here do the trick. I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet, does no one know about Mega Subs? So my roomie/BFF and I found out about this place when we got their menu on our door a few months ago. I guess it used to be called A 1's (I don't know if the ownership has changed, or just the name). Anyhoo, the BFF works at the preschool about a block away from here, so when I go to meet her for lunch we'll often choose this place. Sure, it's not THE BEST sandwich I've ever had, but it's not too shabby. They have a huge selection of sandwiches, baked potatoes, sides, and other miscellaneous items. They keep the place nice and tidy, and I'm a fan of the fact they have a decent condiment bar stocked with jalapenos, peperoncinis, and pickles. The staff is always friendly, the service is always quick, and the food is always very tasty. It can get super busy during the lunch rush, but you still never have to wait very long to order or receive your food. A great lunch place, in my books! read more

That said, the food was low quality, just like what you'd find from the average food truck, the ones they used to call a 'roach coach'. I had the standard Italian sub on wheat, which I realize is not normal. The bread was dry and the bread to meat ration wasn't up to par. I'd recommend to order the white role or make sure you ask for a fresh wheat roll.
