I've had acupuncture several times before so I knew what to expect, but she exceeded it. I arrived early and she was able to start working on me within a few minutes after my arrival. I sat in the waiting area for a few minutes and chatted with another patient who raved about Melinda. Now I know why. After being taken back into the waiting area, she asked me some questions about what brought me to acupuncture. Then I laid on the table, and she got to work. She chatted with me about my job and other things as she gently placed the needles on various parts of my body. Then she put a space blanket on me and put on soothing nature sounds and left me to relax for about 20-30 minutes. I instantly felt relaxed and started to feel my headache dissipate. When she returned to take out the needles, she spent time doing cupping on my knee. I had never had that done before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I scheduled my biweekly appointment afterwards and was on my way. If you are considering acupuncture, you should go for it.
