It has the most popular games from Tekken to Dance Dance Revolution and, more importantly, a couple of pinball machines. A selection of the games pump out Timezone's classic coupons which can be exchanged for small prizes or sweets. There is even a pool table and, thankfully, air-conditioning (which any arcade player knows the importance of). You might have to yell out to get the staff's attention but they have weekly specials which will save you a little bit of money while you waste time. The downside is that you have to buy and use Powercards instead of using up petty coins in your wallet. But you can always sneak away downstairs for a few minutes while your more mature friends look for you in Burger King.

You rally your troops, divide them into two teams, tool up and go to war. There's an instruction video and staff on hand to help you get into your harness-thing. The harness-thing has light targets for your enemy to see and of course your laser gun. You then go run around in the dark shooting each other and the team with the most points wins. Most excellent entertainment - especially getting those kids that are, let's say, not your favourites. So ring up, book your group and they'll give you a room where you can do the food and cake thing along with two 20 minute game sessions. Get pizzas delivered and it's simple and fairly affordable as far as these things go. Just make sure you join in - it's bloody good exercise and wicked fun.

The guys working here nearly all kite, board and wakeboard so have tested a variety of gear. These guys will help do you good deals or packages with board, kite, harness, or board, boots etc.. if you are snowboarding or wakeboarding. I have gone there for my summer and winter sports gear and they are always very helpful. In New Zealand we often don't get top of the range or the newest seasons products, but Ballistics try to get everything as soon as they can. They also do rentals, which is great if you just need something for the day.

For the ultimate bouncy castle they have Jump n Slide which is for all of the budding acrobats, here you can propel yourself to do crazy flips. Take it all a step further with the jousting bridge. Crazy Ladder tested their perseverance skills, those who did make it to the top got a great jump down. The series of trapeze satisfied the monkey in the kids, let's face it they can never get enough jungle gym time. Pizzas were delivered to the party area in the venue, smiles a mile wide the result of a great day out.

Inflatable World is an indoor playground made solely of brightly coloured inflatables such as the…read moreblown up mushrooms, horizontal bungy, boxing ring with foam poles, symmetrical bouncy castle and flytrap with velcro full-body suits. There are three sections with one designated area for the very little. Personal favourites were playful beating my friend up in the boxing ring, getting stuck on the velcro bounce wall and racing in the obstacle-bouncy castle to the final slide in the centre. Located behind the Caltex, careful where you park cause it's a busy area with lots of businesses congregated in that shared space. If you need it, they have some food on premises but you're allowed to bring your own though not into the inflatable areas. Bring your own socks and try stay for the full three hour session you get with entry, but it's a lot harder than you think cause you tire quickly. Also be careful not to hurt yourself because the inflatables are harder and have less bounce than you would think (particularly that backward bungy cord in the horizontal runs). You work up a sweat quite quickly so wear loose, comfortable gear, leaving extras like jewellery and watches at home. A great unintentional workout place, but more designed for the kids and families than young/adults

As a second time visitor and this time taking it in my stride to venture over on my own with the kiddies; I was happily entertained by the kids aged two to eleven( a fantastic note to self that there is something for all ages here). The under four's even have there own zone to enjoy. My first visit here probably was a year ago, and I was attending with children for a five year olds birthday. There are special tables you can hire out for a birthday party, this particular party was catered for by the family in charge, and the kids had a ball! After an hour or so of jumping on inflated castles and running through courses with slides and tunnels the kids gathered for a sit down lunch before running back to enjoy Inflatable world once they had got a bit of food. Not only is this place fantastic for parties but during the first week of school holidays i had three under twelve year olds, and this was my turn to for a bit of fun! The weather may not be so hot outdoors, but at Inflatable its fun and feels sunny! Even in winter you can keep the chills away by sitting under heaters on the chairs provided. A lifesaver for parents and caregivers the kids love it, and you end the visit with very tired ad thrilled kids, who always want to return. The car park is onsite, however gotta be lucky when its busy as they do fill up quick.
