My sister recently got married in Thailand and left it a little late to go dress shopping, but Crystals were amazing. They had a fantastic range of dresses and were so totally professional in all aspects of the sale. The owner is such a lovely lovely lady, she put us totally at ease and didn't mind my sister coming back in to try her dress on a number of times. The shop is really clean and spacious and well laid out, with a fantastic range of really on trend styles and designs. I would recommend it to anyone unreservedly.

The other thing is that this is located at the rear of a Menswear store so there are quite a few members of the public that are able to gawp at you but I suppose there has to be some downsides to compensate for the cheaper prices. I found the salewoman very friendly, full of advice but then rather pushy.she actually wanted me to commit to a dress having only been in the shop once.unfortunately due to this they lost a sale because I was down to chosing between two dresses, one from Taffeta and one from another store but I was too frightened to go back to Taffeta to try it on because I knew that I would get the hard sell.

Unfortunately coming from a uber luxury wedding dress shop, this shop appeared to be dated and shabby and did not ooze luxury at all and what's more we were offered a cup of tea or coffee not a glass of champagne - shock horror! You've already lost a point in my book! The wedding dresses were not to my taste, and the accessories looked cheap and the lady really didn't find out the kind of dress that I would like. My appointment wasn't exclusive so other customers would wonder into the shop, with my lady getting distracted and me being left to my own devices. All in all not a great experience at all. However if you are a strict budget this may be the place for you.

We' been instructed to source bridesmaids dresses that were white and lacey and nowhere on the high street was coming up trumps. The shop isn't huge, and caters mostly to brides rather than bridesmaids - but does have a fair few accessories to ogle over, and the dresses are beautiful. The staff were really helpful, suggesting a couple of other places I might consider trying - and even suggesting alternatives that my friend might consider us wearing, whilst still sticking to our colour scheme. Although we didn't end up ordering anything with them (we ended up choosing prom dresses from M&S!) they were a big help in enabling us to figure out what on earth we were going to wear! Glad I popped in after getting my eyelashes done after all!

One brightly coloured section stood out to me which was from Spanish designer Desigual, the woman explained to me. I think my mum would like the bright bold patterned tops from this designer. As for myself I only found a couple of things I would buy and I'm afraid they were out of my budget. In fact I think I preferred the men's clothes to the women's- they have a much bigger choice!

This is a small shop but they stock hair accessories, ear rings, jewellery, bags and other…read moreaccessories. In my opinion it is aimed at kids and teenagers, but whilst shopping in the store for others I have found a nice hair accessory for myself at a very good price, so I would not dismiss it if you think it is aimed at kids! The staff are ok, when I have been of a weekend it can be very busy and I do tend to avoid a visit if it looks too busy just because it is so small!
