This Meijer location is good size and they usually have the items I am looking for. I was grocery shopping today with a small list this time but they had everything on my list including my allergy meds. I usually do the self check out and only have to involve someone when they need to check id for beer but they always seem to respond quickly and on this day there was not wait at the self checkout. Their produce is nice and they have a great selection. The prices are decent and they have great season ending clothes and shoe sales. I also used the deli today and the folks that waited on me today were friendly and quick. Although deli prices have gone sky high lately but that is no fault of Meijer. read more

This Meijer has been my go-to store for groceries since I moved up to Anderson. It's fairly average like most Meijer stores. I like that they usually have fresh fruits/vegetables and the store is easy to navigate. The employees are also usually kind and helpful. The one thing I dislike is the Meijer deals almost never ring up. For example I went there this past week on the 15th and there were discount stickers good from December 10th til the end of the year, but none of the deals were scanning in when I checked out. read more

I live nearby and this store is consistently selling produce and regular items that are moldy and soft and way past their shelf life. Their organic selection of all items is always stale and never fresh, but you pay organic prices. MONITOR YOUR ITEMS, MEIJER. Have enough fresh organic items in STOCK. like cucumbers, celery, berries, apples, greens. The basics healthy people need to live. It's unacceptable. Prices being this high and paying hard earned money for food you can't eat? Unacceptable. People aren't meant to eat packaged processed food that never expires and shouldn't have to pay you a cent if you can't put fresh produce and items with no preservatives on the shelves. read more

I just moved here from Lawrence, the store in clean HOWEVER y'all need to be checking your PRODUCE! I have come here and things are rotten like bad so that makes other produce go bad as well. The stars I'm giving this, has nothing to do with the actual store just AN EMPLOYEE ONLY ! EMPLOYEE ONLY!!! And ONLY 1 at that ! The little boys name is Winston, he works self checkout. So I do shipt shopping, I had an order at meijer, it was prepaid, get all the way up to self check out. I scan my barcode, then he walks over(Winston). Normally at any store I shipt shop at, all the day is either ask what my total is or watch me scroll through all the way down to the bottom. NOOOOOO not in this case, this was the second time I done had this encounter with this boy, the first time I was like did this really just happen, so he comes over, scans his badge, THEN GOES TO TAKE MY PHONE OUT OF MY HAND, so I pull back, first off DONT EVER IN YOUR LIFE grab somebody's personal belongings, second off, don't even touch my phone... do you not realize there's a whole pandemic going on???? Third off if you need me to scroll through I will GLADLY SCROLL THROUGH MY OWN PHONE!! Don't ever touch my stuff. So I pull back and say politely can you please not grab and touch my phone. Well he got a whole attitude and sighed real loud and stormed away..... so now you aren't even doing your job, you didn't even check the stuff(which nobody ever does, all they do is either ask for the total or ask me to scroll down so they can see the total) BUT he didn't even ask for the total, just completely got an attitude all because I asked him not to grab and touch my phone.... This all comes down to don't touch my belongings and doing your job the proper way and not being a little child. So another girl worker came over and he was whispering in her ear telling her what happen, like hello I'm right here. So he's so lucky I didn't cause a whole scene because your being a little child. And he can't be that much younger than me, but gosh does he act like it. So I went right over to the manager and told some man and women, it necessary wasn't a manager because I walked over and said is there a manager I can speak too and they guy and lady looked at each other and was like I guess that would be us.... always out of product I use. dollar items that are popular always out. They are a far cry from years ago. Started in 1996 and going until this year I spend very little money there. I go to Payless for most of my business. Also their redone M-perks is not very good. I only go there to use coupons now if applicable. Was there couple days ago, but left empty handed. read more

This is a BIG store, like a Target or Walmart. I like the quality of the Falls Creek brand clothes they carry. They have a lot of merchandise but not always a huge selection in any given catagory. I would choose it over Walmart OR Target if there was one in my town. read more

I recently placed a order for pickup at the Meijer in Anderson Indiana. I was initially concerned because I didn't receive a notice that my order was ready. It would soon become obvious that my order wasn't shopped until I arrived. This means I had watch car after car get their order why I waited. It also meant that I wasn't able to approve any subs. You don't want this they pile on all kind of expensive stuff to make sure to increase your total. My 55 dollar order became a 71 dollar order. I had the misfortune of going during the Meijer mania. Simply buy two bottles of wine, a drink, and a snack it took over a half hour. The employees were completely unprepared and did not have enough cashiers. Once I got to the cashier stand, the singular purpose of me Myer, was to get a gift card or a friends daughter. The cashier did not figure out how to get the card worked with the cash register. The manager came up and effort to try to make it work, totally ripped apart the card portion of the gift card. After trying several times with everything torn, they finally gave up and said I'd have to go to the service desk. Mind you, because of their complete lack of preparation, I had already been waiting in the line for nearly a half hour. I finally gave up and cancel the order seeing as they could not seem to figure it out, and with my other groceries behind. I'll bacon have an event like this, with samples, music, other items going on and then not be prepared for the simple act of taking people's money is beyond me. I mean think about it. You go to all this trouble to attract people, and then you make them wait for extended periods of time for them to hand you the money. Last time I am going to that joke of the store. I can see incompetent employees because of the level of what they pay, but when the managers come up with dumb look and can't figure out how to operate a gift card, that means they are beyond home. read more

Really average as far as Meijer goes. Probably a function of Anderson but oh well. Store is generally dirtier than most with a lot of people using their shopping carts to hold themselves up. :-| Plus side is they typically are not out of stock with certain items (like bikes) that they might have sold out of in Noblesville. read more

Super disappointing. They were out of almost every item on my list. It was like they were cleared out for inventory or something. For instance, I wanted to buy deodorant, they were out of every variety in that brand. That's the way it was with almost everything we wanted. Pretty normal experience at this location. A good place to get fresh groceries, but prices are better at nearby competitors. Staff seems friendly, but a little sparse given the size of the store. Surprisingly Meijer has a pretty decent ethnic food section, from British digestive biscuits, to red pepper paste. I enjoy shopping at this Meijer, as it is less crouded than others in neighboring cities. Stop on by to pick up some food after you visit the soon to be Harrahs casino! This Meijer's store is not a place to grocery shop. I learned this Friday (Oct. 25th, 2019). I had driven 35+ mins to this Meijer's to do my weekly shopping. Normally, I shop closer to home, but lured by the supposedly decent savings I could make use of with my new Mperks account, I chose to shop the closest Meijer's. I wasn't even in the store 5 mins before I realized that the scruffy-looking security guys this store employees were following me around. I thought, no big deal. And I continued going by my list, gathering all the things into my cart. Halfway through the store, I decided to just do some candle sniffing and I must have thrown my stalkers off because when I left my cart to walk into the candle aisles, I nearly tripped over a hateful-faced jerk who was backtracking to try and keep up with me. I just laughed, said "excuse me", and the jerk raised his bushy brows, flipped his long, greasy hair, and scowled at me as he blocked me from going further into the candle aisle. All through the store, this jerk saw to it that I put things in my cart. Boring job, his. But I'm certain these types of security guys get off on attempting to intimidate females. The dude even followed me to my car, practically, so I've no doubt he is a member of security. Like most normal Americans, I spend hundreds of bucks a week grocery shopping. But I'll never, ever go back to a store like this one, spending my money just to get followed around by low IQ jerks who act like they are hired to stalk females to the point of ridiculousness. read more

First, let me start by saying that I am not from this area (or state, at that) and traveled here with my husband for his work. Due to the length of our stay, I decided to bring my Playstation 3 so I could use it to watch Netflix. I thought I brought everything, but unfortunately for us, I forgot the cord that charges the controller. I went to three different stores to look for it; Menards, Walmart, and Dollar General. Not one had it and not one employee was of any help. Finally, I decided to check Meijer. The first thing I noticed is that this store is in the process of being updated and it looks much nicer and cleaner than the one in my hometown. I went straight to the electronics department in hopes of finding the item. Unfortunately, I was unable to.. until I ran into Joseph. I described to him what I was looking for and what I needed and he actually wanted to help, unlike the other store's employees. When we were unable to find it near the phone accessories, he took me to the gaming accessories. We were also unable to find it in that aisle. Then, even though he did not have to, Joseph went the extra mile and checked in the back for me. Not even 2 minutes later, he returns with a 10ft cord (bonus) that would work with my controller! Not only that, he added that it was on clearance and only $4.49, which is much less than I was expecting to pay. When I got to the register, it rang at $3.61 (25% off) and I was extremely happy. So, thank you SO much Joseph and Meijer for making my life a lot less complicated! read more

The manager at this store should be absolutely disgusted with himself. A woman pulled her car in with a flat tire and parked in the far corner of the lot completely out of the way of customers. She left a note on the windshield saying she would be back in two hours with a new tire. The manager had their car towed and impounded before she could get back (he also lied to the tow-man and said the car had been there for a week). When the woman asked him where her car was he lied and said he had no idea. Once she discovered it had been impounded at a local shop instead of stolen, she was relieved until she found out the cost. $150 for the tow plus $25 per day until the car is picked up. Her job requires her to drive and she will be unable to pick it up until she is paid. The total bill will be around $275. Needless to say, my family and I spend hundreds of dollars at this Meijer location every month and they just lost our business. Hope it was worth it, Meijer. read more

I shop Meijer very frequently and I, like most people, watch the ads and shop when I can get the best deals. I buy so many things for my family and my new baby. When the formula/ baby foods are on sale for buy such amount and get a coupon off of your next shopping trip I always jump at that! I come in the store yesterday and as I'm checking out at the customer service desk, as I have always done, and same (1 of 2) cashiers I am told that I can no longer split transactions in order to get the best deals. I requested to speak with the manager and he then tells me "it's against store policy" I ask how it's different today aside from all the other times?" Of course he cannot answer that question. I had 7 cans of baby formula at $18.98 a can plus 25 containers of baby food at $.99 a piece. I am of course frustrated and told him that's fine. I will not purchase anything and he can let his workers restock each item knowing he lost this store roughly $160 over (3- $10 COUPONS!) Good job Meijer! Glad to know we have such wonderful people in our community who cannot bare the thought of allowing the customers to actually "SAVE MONEY!" read more
