It was 9 am, so while tempted, I refrained from trying it. But there were workman sitting at tables enjoying big pieces. We picked up gas. Easy in and out off of SR32.

But another good place to get burritos is at an ice cream shop on 86th Street, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I'm starting to think that Indiana hides all the good burritos in unassuming places. Maybe I should start looking for burritos the next time I'm at the shoe store or the dentist. In any case, Ricker's has good burritos. One of the best parts about ordering a burrito at Ricker's is that you don't have to talk to anyone to order. There is an electronic screen that you use to punch in your order. Then you pick it up at the counter. You can customize your burrito to your liking. If you want a good burrito, I suggest ordering the following: refried beans, Mexican rice, cheese. That's it. If you want some meat in there, add carnitas. Don't go and ruin a perfectly fine burrito by adding sour cream and lettuce. If you're going to do that you might as well just order something else. This is how strongly I feel about this particular combination of burrito ingredients. Another reason to like Ricker's is because they sell cold beer. This means you could get your burrito to go, grab a six pack of cold Coronas, and have a nice little Mexican feast at home.

Their coffee machines are espresso makers that have been converted into premium brewed-by-the-cup coffee makers, each uses a reverse osmosis water filtration system, fresh beans are added regularly and then ground fresh with each cup for your drinking enjoyment. Costco gas is generally about 20 cents a gallon cheaper than other stations. So I end up waiting in line for gas with the city's other cheapskates. This Costco is convenient for me, but not my favorite. The parking lot is hard to get in and out of. There are always tons of pots holes and the traffic is unforgiving. I use my Costco card (you have to at least scan the card to prove you are a member). When I use my card, I get a small percentage back at the end of the year as a reward. My cars seem to like the gas, they don't complain. I can wash my windshields, if I want. That's about it. Except sometimes, I also stop in the store and do some shopping. The station is fairly close to the on/off the highway. Maybe that's why there's always a line. The staff does a good job of keeping the cheapskates in line. They keep us safe and moving. They will help those needing assistance.

The fryers At the cafe for down as well the pizza maker so almost no food available. The fryers in particular have been down for about a week now. I used to eat something from there pretty much everyday but obviously I can't if it's closed. But that's not the only thing that was down. 2 flavors of soda out of order. 2 flavors of slurpee out of order. If you're on food stamps, go someplace because their EBT machine is down. Hungry for hit dogs? Too bad...none on the grill. So I decided just to get a super big gulp. Um...no straws.
