Similar to most of the other Meijer chains this one has a deli, pharmacy, and photo center. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly. My three star rating is due to the lack of lanes that are open when the store is clearly busy. There are over 20 lanes and it seems that only four are open during a Sunday afternoon and the lines are pouring out into the crossway. It does help that there are self check out lanes available if you only have a few items, but the store could improve their staffing issues to make shopping more fast and convenient for the customers. read more

I love meijer I go there at least twice a week for any and everything. I highly suggest getting the Mperks Reward membership to save you some money. The only thing that I tend to notice is sometimes they will advertise a sale next to the price but the price is not deducted at the checkout which is annoying because I probably would not have bought it . read more

Since this Meijer is so close to my home, it's my go to place for groceries. I'm not a huge fan of Walmart or other big box stores but Meijer meets my needs for the most part. I usually like going to smaller, local grocery stores where the produce is fresher but Meijer has great prices on most grocery items. This location is usually less crowded than it's counterparts in Plainfield and Naperville. read more

I usually have pretty good experiences here. I am not fond of the seafood selection@this location. I mainly shop here for produce bread cereal milk chips and snacks for the kids. Most of the staff is helpful and a few seem to ppt for checks without carrying out their full duties (Ryan) in electronics due to his unhelpful attitude I met the store director Becky. My only bad experience besides Ryan is returning two bikes for defective issues. read more

Love this place always clean, great customer service. Everything is always fresh and stocked.

I would have to say that all of the meijers that are in the greater Chicago land area this one is the best. Good and fresh quality produce and meat. The bread and milk are always in stock. Price discrepancy issues they will work with you to get it fixed, however compared with the other meijers in the area it is at a minimal. My one tip for you do not do your weekly shopping on Saturday or Sunday afternoon because the meat and produce areas will be picked over. read more

Far and away my favorite place to grocery shop. They have a great selection of produce and a fantastic variety of store brand products and great prices, much of which is organic. They have a great meat section and the staff is what you would expect from any big box chain, but typically polite and helpful. Overall, it is exactly what you want from a grocery store, clean, good variety, great prices, high quality. I have been going here for years and see no end in sight. read more

Produce this Summer has been atrocious and I've added this dept to the Deli at our Oswego Meijer as areas of this store to AVOID. I've thrown out strawberries, oranges, potatoes and numerous other items only a couple days after purchasing them here due to mold and rot. Looked at blueberries there today, out for sale....and they were already fuzzy in their containers. I don't know what has changed here recently but the Oswego Meijer is not stocking FRESH fruits and veggies. read more

Horrible place to shop! I was at self check out with my 2 boys and had forgot to scan a few items because we got confused on what had been scanned since we were all scanning and taking turns. When we had it all bagged and started walking out they stopped us and we're yelling at my kids and I saying we were robbing them. All we had bought was food items. So they take us back to the room and go through the whole receipt and totaled what had not been scanned. It was undet 50 bucks. I said right there I will pay for it it was an accident. Nope they called the police and said I stole! They made my kids cry and were demeaning to all of us too! When cops came they took me to the station and then let me go right away, in fact they apologized because they said meijer calls on everyone and they are ridiculous! I went to court and judge let me off saying what a waste of time! Ridiculous of meijer! Worst place evet read more

This would be a fantastic store if they bothered to open registers beyond the self scan. At 3 different locations, I ran into four or more employees gathered chit chatting, so it's not a staffing issue. There were 4 registers open, all with a line of four or more customers waiting, and NO express lane open. Even the convenience item pane was closed. read more

I will not even give this store a 1 star. I was in their today and they did not have the air conditioner on for one. Then one of the bathrooms was out of order and the other one was a pig sty. Every time I go into this store the bathrooms are never clean. Also a lot of times the items in the coolers are not kept to the front, not sure if it is the workers or a poor management leader. read more

I would definitely pick Meijer over Walmart, Dominicks or Jewel. The produce selection beats any of these hands down! Price, selection - has everything I need. Very competetive pricing, great selection on general merchandise as well. The employees are so friendly AND helpful, unlike Walmart. I agree, they could use a few more lanes open to check out but, it seems most stores are this way anymore! It's a great one stop shop!! read more

I just went shopping at your oswego store today and was very disappointed with your produce.I bought one of your watermelons that you had on sale this week for my weekend holiday. When I got it home I cut it open only to find out it had a rotted spot in it that you could not see from the outside and the color was not even red,it was more of a pink and yellow color so it hit the garbage can I guess I will stick with buying my produce at Jewel I never had a problem with theirs. I bought yours cause it was on sale (now I can see why) and you were close to my home. I will much rather pay for the gas to go to jewel to get my produce,at least I know it will be good. Buy the way your apricots you really should sell for 49 cents a pound instead of 1.18 cause they sure are not worth that price those should hit the garbage too. read more
