The dentist took time to go over with me what to expect as my son's permanent teeth came in and was very reassuring and willing to answer questions. I do wish that the children's alcove in the waiting area had more toys or books, but I consider that lack a VERY small price to pay for such excellent service. I was…read moreworried about taking my youngest in for his first check up, thought he d be nervous and fight, so I let them know my concerns, and they were extremely patient and gentle with him, even let us come in the day before his appointment to get a little tour. That was over a year ago. Now my son, as well as my older children, literally cheer when I tell them they have a dentist appointment. They love going to the dentist and are sad they have to wait another 6 months to go again! I appreciate that the staff have never once left me waiting. Last time I took 2 kids in for cleanings, we were in and out in 20 minutes flat. That s cleanings & exams, didn't do xrays this time. 20 minutes! How awesome is that?? My kids were actually disappointed that they didn' t get more time to play with the toys in the waiting room :-)

I can't say enough good about Dr. Eggen. He saved my life!!!! He found white spots on the right…read moreside of my cheek. I thought it was just thrush. He gave me the thrush medication but didn't do anything. He strongly urged me to see Dr. Neilson, an oral surgeon, but I hesitated because he didn't take my insurance. I finally went and he was great, too. Mindful of my financial situation, he took his fee off. He encouraged me to get a biopsy, but then more money. He ripped out the phrase, "If you were my mother, I'd insist you get a biopsy." So I did. Turns out, it was pre cancerous!! He recommended me to Dr. Cordin in St. George, who did take my insurance, and I had oral surgery last week. I'm recovering well. Turns out, the final diagnosis was high-grade dysplasia. (pre cancerous). But it all started out by the great Dr. Eggen. Thank you SO much.
