It was our first time doing something like t his and before purchasing the coupon I emailed her. She explained the package and worked with our schedule. She suggested times that would be ideal for pictures and sent an email outlining what we should wear and what are some things to expect. On the day of, a Sunday morning at 9 a.m. she came to meet Dave and I at the beaches. The hour went by really quickly but she was great at knowing exactly where to go and what shots to get, so we weren't standing around at each location wasting time. It took her a week to get the pictures to us and it was the longest week of life (only because I'm impatient), but she was great at updating us on the status. I would definitely consider her again when we have an occasion.

I had reviewed her website and package details and was narrowing it down between her and another studio. Cristina was quite prompt in following up while the other studio never responded at all so after our phone conversation, we went with Cristina. We are so glad we did! We booked the 'Belly to Baby Portrait Sessions' and Cristina sweetened the deal for us by tossing in all the high resolution maternity shots as part of a booking promotion. Both our photoshoot experiences were amazing - we felt so natural, comfortable and relaxed. Our maternity photoshoot was the first time we met Cristina after numerous emails back and forth and we quickly built rapport; Cristina is so easy to talk to! We felt so at ease as she gave us direction on the poses and expressions, where to shoot which maternity outfits on which background, how to incorporate our own sentimental props, etc. We found our outdoor shooting venue through review of her previous work and what a gorgeous park it was. Turnaround time for the maternity shots was quick too and she was able to get them to us in time so we could make a collage for our baby shower. For the newborn photoshoot, we opted to shoot in her studio, very well stocked with a variety of backdrops, props and newborn outfits/pieces. Her guidance on selection of the colours and textures made for such rich photos. Again, Cristina was fantastic and this time, our 12-day-old son was the star! Cristina took great care to tend to him as she prepped him for all the shots in the various outfits with the many props; it ended up being a 3-hour shoot! Really goes to show that she truly cares about quality in her work. I was actually quite anxious with how our son would behave, being so young, but he was surprisingly well-behaved! We were able to freely take our time in breastfeeding twice and diapering three times without a worry! Personality and work ethic aside, what stands out is the spectacular quality of Cristina's work. We are so pleased with how the photos from our maternity and newborn photoshoots turned out! Cristina really has an eye for capturing amazing shots and we could not envision it until we saw her work. We are so glad Cristina captured these precious memories for us and we cannot wait to receive our photography package and to surprise our parents with their first grandson's photos. We highly recommend Cristina and will definitely continue to go to her for our future family photography sessions!

I had Pamela shoot my daughters newborn pictures and unfortunately it was a terrible experience…read more.. We waited over 2 months to receive the disk of images when we were initial told it would only take 2 weeks max... After waiting the 2 months and trying several times to contact her with no replies, I finally advised her that if we didn't get the pictures within the week we were requesting a refund... Upon finally receiving the disk we were again very disappointed, more than half of the images she took were missing. Some of which were images that were very important to us and she knew this from our previous discussions/planing we had done. Also, it was easy to see the editing on the prints wasclearly rushed... Body parts were different colours, her face was orange in some pictures and she had milk all over lips. A lot of the images were duplicate pictures just zoomed into her face to make it look like another picture. After addressing my concerns to Pamela and letting her know how upset we were about the situation she didn't take It well. She got very defensive and was accusing me of saying her work was terrible. She advised me that the remainder of the pictures would be mailed to me. After waiting another month I messaged her asking if they had been sent yet and her exact works were "I'm not sending you anything else" then she blocked me so I could not reply... She said I had no right editing her pictures. I'm sorry but I'm not printing/posting a picture of my daughter with an orange face... I had good reasoning to edit her pictures. What's most upsetting about this is I trusted Pamela to capture this once in life time moment of my daughter and we will never get that moment in time back. Bottom line, my experience with her was absolutely terrible and we will never go back nor will I refer anyone to her... She's very unprofessional, lacks communication skills and after viewing what images I did get, her editing skills are very poor as well

After receiving quotes from few local photographers for some headshots that I needed for work, I…read moredecided to use Magda. I was familiar with her work, comfortable with her pricing, and liked the examples that I saw on her website! I was quite nervous for the shoot, but she made me feel comfortable with the entire process. I just choose my final prints, but there was definitely more than enough for me to work with in the proofs that she sent me. (There were a couple of 'hobby/part-time photographers' who were charging $50 for the session, but I would feel a bit unreasonable if I wasn't happy with any of the photos taken with them.) Rates, proofs, and all correspondence were sent out promptly. So even without receiving the finals yet, I am very satisfied with Magda's work and professionalism!
