My boyfriend and I love Mellow Mushroom the spinach and artichoke dip is to die for so good.

Yelp site clearly says open till 11 pm in Sunday. Drove 45 minutes to be told were sorry we close at 10. Terrible service!! Tried to eat here again on Saturday at 2:30. Was busy but counted 4 empty tables and booths but we were told a 1.5 hour wait. Extremely disappointed again. Great atmosphere and of course great pizza. Spinach and Artichoke Dip is phenomenal. However a 1.5 hour wait for pizza on a Sunday night and the restaurant is half empty. Definitely a downer for a family night out. read more

First trip to a Mellow Mushroom. Mushroom pizza on traditional crust was great. But geez the service is horrendous. Our waiter is unable to multi-task, lol. This was my second trip to the mellow mushroom in as many weeks. Both times I tried the spinach and artichoke dip and found it to be outstanding in every way! My first trip I had the mushroom soup followed by the Italian sub. I did not care all that much for the soup as it was too heavy. It also arrived too close to the entrée which was the sandwich. The sandwich it was OK but I probably wouldn't get it again. Today I visited with another friend and we shared a pizza which came out not even close to hot and it was pretty dry and tasteless. It was the house special. Don't think I will have pizza again either. Will probably try the restaurant one more time. They do have an excellent selection of beers. read more

Ate here opening night and the staff handled everything just about as well as you could expect with half of Paducah showing up at once! Kosmic Karma and the Mighty Meaty were both very good. Craft beer selection was very good and the bar service was solid while we were waiting to be seated. I look forward to weekend lunches and watching big games at the large bar area! read more

This is the worst Mellow Mushroom. I'm only giving it two stars because our server (her name was Jennifer) was a rockstar. The kitchen needs some serious training. They forgot the carrots and celery that were supposed to come with the hummus appetizer. They put onions on a pizza that was specifically ordered without (rockstar server noticed this before we did, so that was nice) but then we waited 20 more minutes for the remake and then they forgot the basil on my daughter's pizza. The extra toppings here are not cheap, and we saw the cook take ONE basil leaf and rip it up and throw it on top of the pizza at the window (where the aforementioned observant server noticed that the basil was absent from the pizza before bringing it to us). The pizza crust here was uncharacteristically bland and super dry and the calzone that my nephew ordered was the same, and had hardly any filling in it. It was very disappointing because we have loved all of the other locations we have been lucky enough to have frequented in the past. read more

Crappy service. My beer glass smelled like fish. Dirty silverware & tables & they were SLOW. We could tell that our waitress was ready to leave. Checked on us once. No manager in over an hour & 1/2. Waitress (Kaylee) didn't place drink orders as she said. Put blame on the bartender. Not bartenders fault. read more

Great building/ adjacent businesses. Good place to take tourists or meet with a large party, but NEVER go here in a hurry. It will take longer than an hour even when the restaurant is empty. Not recommended for a lunch break. read more

Went to Mellow Mushroom on a Saturday night and expected a wait. It wasnt too bad for a weekend and the food and atmosphere was wonderful. Only complaint I had was that it took an hour to get our food, then they forgot one of my kids orders. Other than that, a great place to eat...if you have a good 2-3 hours. read more

Love it ! Great atmosphere,great food,good service and great prices too. With a menu that has pages numbering into the teens there is a wide selection of food to choose from. My wife and I arrived at the restaurant at 4:45. The restaurant was practically empty yet we were told there was a 25 minute wait. I asked why and was told they were expecting 2 large groups (1 of 25 and they other of 16) and the kitchen could not handle any more. This is a rather large dining room ... No body was there, our party of 2 was going to stress the kitchen .... Excuse me. This was our first visit in over a year obviously still working on the customer experience improvement. We always have the best meals here! The pretzel bites with beer cheese is our favorite appetizer. My kids usually have the cheese pizza and I always hope there's a slice left for me for the next day! Nobody's perfect. Sometimes mistakes are made. The true measure of a business's worth is how they remedy a mistake. They used green peppers instead of green olives. When they were informed of their mistake, they first apologized, then assured us that they would make a new one straight away. The manager also came out and apologized, then offered the wrong one while we waited for the right one. The right one came shortly, and it was extra delicious (and free). I really appreciate how they treat their customers. We will definitely be back! read more

I have always loved Mellow Mushroom. We always use to find one when we would go on vacation. So we were super excited when we heard we were getting one. We waited a pretty good while to visit the Paducah location because new restaurants in the area always draw a big crowd. We just visited last Saturaday and got take out today. The food is great when you finally get it. Waiting an hour for pizza is ridiculous especially when they say 30 minutes. Both times the wait time to recieve the food was awful not to mention during our dine in the food came out at random times and not together like it should have. The restaurant was not that busy at either times. I highly doubt we will be back. read more

2nd time visiting Mellow Mushroom in Paducah. Great food and service! I tried the local sausage hoagie which was amazing. Also love the historic building location in an old Coca Cola bottling plant that has a brewery and other little shops inside. They're doing it right! I'll be back! read more

Asked Siri for restaurants in Paducah, the Mellow Mushroom came up and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was very cool. The old Coca Cola bottling plant was turned into the restaurant. The staff was very enthusiastic about the history of the building and the food on the menu. Overall a one of a kind experience. We had the spinach artichoke dip and a Maui Wowie pizza which I highly recommend. read more

If I could give one star I would. They had us wait for an hour only to tell us that we had to wait two more to get pizza. The server was very kind, but that fails to make up for the lack of communication between management and the customers about the delay on the pizza. read more

Exceptionally friendly staff and very helpful when it comes to choosing from their many delicious menu options. The bar has so many tap brews from local and regional breweries it's always a little hard for me to pick one. Mellow is hands-down one of the best pizza places around. It's different because they have actual gourmet pizza, instead of the same old assembly line style pizza there other places have. You can just tell it's better quality ingredients that are used instead of prefab and prepackaged stuff that is just opened and thrown on a dough patty. Atmosphere is great! Just a cool place to relax and listen to the music while enjoying a great meal. I prefer to sit in the bar because the service is great and the bartenders will actually interact with you. I highly recommend checking it out instead of waiting around for the delivery guy! I mean...Digiorno is hot and fresh when you take it out of the oven, so what's the difference? Try Mellow! I came here with my family wanting to check the place out. 10 min after ordering a pizza, the server returned to inform me there is 30-45 min wait for a pizza. (no shade to the server, she was awesome) But a 30-45 min wait for a PIZZA?? I ended up ordering a sandwich but I'm disappointed. My advice, don't come here for another month. Maybe they'll have worked the kinks out by then. read more

I know that this establishment is still "working out the kinks" but I really think that it's the responsibility of management to 1. let their patrons know the honest wait time for a table (told 30 min., waited 1hr) and 2. If pretzels or pizza are going to be be ordered it will be close to a 2hr additional wait. Our server was sweet and professional not to mention apologetic. Management needs to take initiative and step up. read more

Love the location, vibe, and atmosphere! I always appreciate a unique location and I really feel they've done the Coke Plant right with their updates. I am boring and always get the same pizza, but it's great every time (I especially love the crust!) and the beer list is quite respectable. However, I've been three times now and it's always slow as Christmas. The first time was shortly after opening, so I assumed the hour-plus wait for a pizza was growing pains. But on the second visit, on a mid Sunday afternoon, the service was still slow. The most recent visit, again on a Sunday afternoon, was frustrating too. We tried ordering beers three different times, and nothing we ordered from the list was available. In between these orders our server disappeared for long periods of time, and by the time my boyfriend got his (I ordered a coke instead), we were finished with the beer cheese and pretzels we'd ordered to go along with it. They comped the beer and appetizer, which was certainly appreciated, but I feel like it's an indicator of a common problem. It takes forever to get your food, servers can be inattentive, and the beer list is apparently not updated frequently enough. I really love this location and it's a fun place to visit - cool art, looping video of the 37 flood, an art-o-mat vending machine - but so far it has come off a little rusty and I hope these problems can be resolved soon, otherwise I don't see myself becoming a usual customer. read more

I have visited this restaurant twice and had a pleasant experience both times. The atmosphere is fun and the service is good. The variety of pizza makes this a top choice. Both visits, my family and I split a pizza with two different specialties on one pizza which allowed us to try two different kinds during one trip. The only deterrent from going there would be that it can take a long time to get your pizza. On our last visit, we had to wait approximately 30 minutes from the time we ordered until our pizza arrived. Overall, this is a great choice for a restaurant experience in Paducah. read more
