She planned the most picturesque celebration for us, with an unforgettable ceremony in Yosemite National Park and a stunning reception at Tenaya Lodge. Jess and her team arranged a perfect ceremony site at Yosemite's Sentinel Beach Picnic Area (permit in hand), and somehow made it feel both intimate and grand for our 100 guests. Everyone was comfortable, awestruck by the natural beauty, and touched by the seamless flow that her team executed. Organized, kind, artistic, and a true wedding pro, Jess went above and beyond at every turn. She coordinated all of our vendors--no small feat in the Yosemite area--and did it with such ease and confidence that we felt completely at peace throughout the process. Her digital planning software kept us on track without feeling overwhelmed, and she was incredibly responsive and flexible when any changes needed to be made. For context, we are based in Orange County, but Jess was consistently reliable via Zoom, call, or text throughout the whole process. The reception décor at Tenaya's Pavillion was the most breathtaking room I've ever walked into, and it would not have happened without Jess's eye for detail and expert guidance. She has a rare gift for matching couples with the perfect vendors and keeping everything on schedule without making it feel rigid or rushed. She and her team also flawlessly executed our rehearsal and welcome dinner, enhancing our Western-themed event with thoughtful decor touches that tied everything together beautifully. If you're getting married in or around Yosemite, Jessica Trettin is THE person to hire. Her local knowledge, vendor connections, and creative instincts are unmatched. But even outside of the region, I would recommend her wholeheartedly. She's nimble, efficient, and an exceptional events professional from A to Z. I originally thought I could do it without a coordinator, but panicked after booking my other vendors and I am SO glad that I booked The Wandering Bride!! Communication was outstanding, Maggie, who was our day of coordinator, was on top of EVERYTHING and they took everything they could off of my hands so I could just focus on enjoying the day. Maggie handled all the last minute communication with the vendors so I didn't have to, including a last minute start time change that we decided on at the rehearsal. I got to use their planning software, which includes the most detailed and thorough checklist, a timeline that we could collaborate on, and a seating plan creator, all of which were super helpful. Maggie was somehow everywhere all at once to connect with all the vendors and make sure things went off so smoothly, all the while while staying in contact with me so I knew what was going on and could ask any questions or make any last minute requests. Above all else, Maggie managed to take the fuzzy picture in my head of how I wanted things to look and make it bloom into something absolutely STUNNING! Everything looked and ran so professionally and so smoothly! Everyone, including the vendors, had an amazing time! I honestly cannot recommend The Wandering Bride enough!! Cassandra was great to work with and I am so glad I hired her. We had regular meetings leading up to my wedding that were on my time, and at my office or somewhere close to my house. She is extremely detailed and goes over every minute of your special day. She recommended great vendors, responds to emails and texts almost immediately, and was just someone I could text any time of the day when I had an idea or concern about the wedding and I would get a response that reassured me. For the day of the wedding I cant even sing her praises enough. I didnt get a single panicked phone call from anyone because she was in touch with all the vendors all day. She arrived at the venue early, she was the first one there, and the last one to leave at at night. She made sure everything was set out perfectly, then at the end of the night, made sure everything was packaged up and ready to go and be picked up. During the wedding she kept us on our pre-planned schedule, which is so easy to divert from when you have 20 people pulling you each way. She made sure we ate, and had something to drink, and that all my guests knew where to sit. I do events professionally and as an event professional, I know that you cant do it all yourself and that if you hire good help, your event will run smoothly, and that is definitely what you need on a day like your wedding day.

Then Cindy with Eclectic Events is your planner. Cindy accompanied us throughout the entire process from meeting with vendors and making sure we weren't taken advantage of. Though all our vendors were great, the added experience of Cindy ensured a positive wedding planning experience. She covered all the minuscule details and our agenda was kept on track! From the girls hair and makeup, to the grooms haircuts, limousine pick ups, church photos, the various photographers involved, and the time schedule for the reception events including our sunset pictures, everything went off flawless! Cindy stayed in contact with us the entire wedding process. She might have drive some vendors crazy, but she knew what she was doing and looked out for us, her clients. And that is only the beginning of the nightmare we experienced. Not enough food for our 30 guests when we ordered food for 50...the flowers never arrived...and after crying, I was left with gossip from the party goers that I put on horrible parties. I will never believe yelp. Eclectic had to have paid people to write nice things. The party for my husbands new job and employees was just awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two young men who delivered our order (fulfilled perfectly) were so respectful and kind, it was humbling. I told them where I wanted the tables and chairs, but I was glad that one of them spoke up with a better idea (he knew the path of the sun there). Everything went perfectly, it all felt natural for the guests, and the owner was present during the pickup. Even though it was clear that I was from out of town, I was treated like a long-time customer.

The owner was immediately responsive by text and we worked out the cost and our specific rental request within 15 minutes. She even sent multiple quotes by text as we discussed our planned event. The only minor hiccup was that my text asking when the rented materials would be dropped off went unanswered initially, but when I called the week before our event to ask, the owner 1) answered by using my first name (points for customer service/organization) 2) and reassured us that materials would be dropped off the day before our event. We were informed that the drop off crew would notify us within an hour of coming to our home. The day of drop off came and was getting into the early evening, so I admittedly started to panic a bit and called again to ensure delivery. I was assured our materials would be delivered within the next few hours, which they were. There seemed to be some confusion between the owner and delivery crew since the crew was asking for more money than we were initially told, but after showing the messages I'd received from the owner, the crew deferred to her. I negotiated a pick up time with the delivery crew, who were very flexible and allowed us to keep the materials another day at no extra cost since it was a Sunday. They arrived the expected day and removed the tent and materials quickly, and they were consistently professional and respectful of my home. The materials weren't anything fancy, but they got the job done. Would definitely use again and recommend to those seeking an event rental company for personal/backyard events.
