They did replace some deck boards for us which didn't come out right, but they aren't carpenters, so that was on us, I suppose. The stain color for the front and back porch was wrong, but I blame Sherwin Williams for not matching it correctly. Jesus came back out a week later and re-stained both porches with the original stain we used before. They did a great job on the painting, and we appreciated that he made the porches right, even after I had already paid him. He and his team were courteous and worked efficiently. I remembered how great of an experience I had two years ago and hoped I could get him to come back. I've had other painters come in between those years due to 4A being booked on the days I needed. All of those times, I felt a weird feeling in my gut or the other painters just didn't do a good job. This time, I was PRAYING I could get 4A to come in so I didn't have to bring someone else, lol. Luckily, he was able to come the next day (a Saturday morning on his wife's birthday!!) to give me a quote. He then came the following week to remove the foam and paint. Reliable, insanely well mannered, respectful, clean, and of course, great skills-- above and beyond. I cannot say that enough. Last time, he painted more than he needed because he saw what other painters have done. We've been in our house over a year, and we decided the builder grade "accessible beige" wasn't cutting it any longer. We needed to paint the interior bad. We had multiple companies come out to bid the job, but none of them held a candle to NC Equality Painting. Jesus (the owner) was great when he came to give us a quote and once, we agreed to a price and start date, next step was getting started. Jesus and his crew where punctual every day and did an excellent job. His crew was very meticulous and he was always checking in to make sure that we like the quality of his job, that we didn't have any questions and that our needs where being met. Did I mention Jesus came everyday himself and it wasn't just him sending in subcontractors and only showing up to collect a check. I work from home so keeping the noise and disruption to a minimum was essential and he did an excellent job. They took photos of everything in the house just so they could move it back to its original position when they were done. They cleaned up at the end of each day and keep the house looking neat as possible.
