Bybee Electric installed my lighting in the new house I purchased in December of 2024. One of the…read morelights in the ceiling went out, and I needed it replaced. The light itself had a 5-year warranty. The electrician happened to be working on a house just a few doors down from my house, and he came over to replace my light. It took him about 10 minutes to complete the job. When he finished, I asked him how much I owed, and he said it would be no charge since he was already in the neighborhood working and it took such a short time. A couple of weeks later, I received a bill for $100 for a service call. I ignored the bill based on what the electrician had told me. A few weeks later, I got a collection call from the Bybee office telling me that I was delinquent and would have to pay the bill. I told her what the electrician had told me when he replaced the light, and she said that did not matter; I would have to pay for the service call anyway. I paid but will never use Bybee again and will try to dissuade as many people as I can to use another company.
