I agree with the other reviews, what a beautiful peaceful place. I will add info regarding parking for others who need that like I did. First, 50 Spring St is the association's office. There is a private parking lot next door to the office for the Memorial Garden. The actual garden entrance is 36 Spring St. My friend parked in a different lot. We didn't stay long because my friend didn't know it used to be a cemetery and that freaked her out. I saw pictures from another friend that she took for her senior photos and they were gorgeous that's why I wanted to come, but she didn't mention the cemetery. Easily accessible. read more

Beautiful memorial garden with lots of history! Tombstones and monuments from long ago, all enveloped in the beauty of nature...including large magnolia trees, colorful flowers, ferns, and more! There are beautiful fountains here which also just add a very peaceful and lovely ambience to this memorial garden. Came here today to show my mom and we both agree that whoever is taking care of the lawn, flowers, hedges, etc is doing an amazing job. It's very kept up and beautiful during all seasons, but especially Spring and Summer, when the flowers are thriving and the birds are singing. This is a lovely hidden gem in concord that I highly recommend! Great place for taking photos, for prayer/meditation, reading a book, or to just get away and get some steps in! Founded in 1804 as the Presbyterian Cemetery, it was reclaimed in 1930 as a memorial garden. Beautifully landscaped with well-worn paths, it is a peaceful place. Yeah, there are dead people here but they don't seem to mind visitors. I enjoyed a quick visit here. It's a very nice park. [Review 13171 overall, 488 of 2020.] read more

This old cemetery from 1804, turned memorial gardens is really peaceful and relaxing to stroll around. It's actually located on 36 spring street and known as memorial garden. There are some really nicely hand carved headstones here. It's definitely worth a short trip if you're in the Concord area of North Carolina. read more

This is a cemetery that is quite old and has been landscapes into a beautiful garden. In the spring there are many tulips and lush green lawn. Seriously go here in spring! The prettiest, most peaceful spot I have been to in a while! read more
