We had one day in Nurnberg on our trip, and this was a must-see stop. It wasn't hard to find, the building is enormous, but parking was another issue. There is street parking all along that area, but mid-day there was not an open spot. A few blocks down near a shopping area we finally found a spot - we were nervous as we didn't see any meters, etc. but we never got a ticket so apparently it was a good place to park! We had no idea if the main courtroom would be open, but since we only had that one day we took our chance and we got lucky. The audio guide is wonderful, and you could just sit in the courtroom and hear quite a bit about what went on. Then you go upstairs to see/hear more about the entire trial, and there you can also look through the windows down into the courtroom. I really enjoyed seeing the actual footage from parts of the trials, and hearing the voices of the accused - it made it very meaningful. We were there about 2 hours and felt that we saw everything. read more
