Great atmosphere in a 25 year old brick ball park. The apartment to right field almost give a Camden Yards vibe. Food was a little expensive but not too over the top. Grass hills in left and right field give kids a place to burn energy as they wait for an outfielder to toss them a ball at the end of innings. Plenty of promotions to watch for including free ice cream for kids under 12 on Sundays in 2025.

My son and I had the pleasure of catching the Grizzlies v. NOLA Pelicans on our trip to Memphis. I had planned ahead and got tix online, which seemed very reasonable, but a scalper across from the Forum had them for 1/2 of what I paid (lesson learned). Check out the Grizzlies shop just as you enter for poppin' gear such as the recent playoffs shirts and cool straight-billed hats. I liked the local beer options- Ghost River had their own stop, and another 'local' beer station had Sweetwater, Abita, and other Southern craft beer options. Also cool was the sign of food vendors throughout the stadium, but it was slightly out of date. Still, I found Rendezvous, and had some of the best Nachos ever- pulled pork atop melted cheese with jalapenos, dusted with Vergos' signature rub. Heaven. Possibly the best Nachos, ever. We had a great time at the game, and their mascot Griz even rubbed my head (for good luck?), and is a high energy addition to the game. Gasol, ZBO and crew crushed the Pelicans, and are Playoff bound. Go, Grizzlies!

Drinks were water, tea and lemonade. The lemonade was terrible. Way too much water in it. Thankfully had seats in the shade and stayed for 7 innings. The Redbirds postponed their game to the following day. But there was no way we could stay in Memphis an extra day, especially not on Easter Sunday when we had plans back home. Attempting to get a refund, or at least a credit so we could come back at a later date to watch the Redbirds, they flat out refused to help us. We were told that if we couldn't come back on Easter Sunday, we've just lost those tickets. DO NOT buy tickets to an event at AutoZone Park, lest the event be cancelled or moved only for you to lose your money. It's a serious gamble, especially if you're driving a long distance only to receive nothing in return.

In a time where history is being threatened, seeing this was beyond amazing. I've been to Memphis so many times between 2025 to present. Shame on me for not having come sooner. $25 for a ticket when in reality you're able to see the hotel just by coming by. Service is great, it's Memphis where people are super friendly and kind. I'd definitely recommend to come and check this place out!
