Unfortunately, I think I may have been the victim of a bait and switch by Men in Kilts. I had originally called to get an estimate from their call center service reps and received a quote of about $220 based on the info I gave them about our house. When the local technicians showed up for the appointment they said there was no way they could honour the quote and that a more reasonable estimate would be over $600 but they would be willing to do it for $400. I agreed and the work was done. Subsequently, another cleaner came by the house and gave a quote of $250 - close to the original MIK quote. All I'm saying is to be sure to get a few quotes first. My overall experience was very impressive, the call centre was very helpful in providing me with a baseline $$. When the techs were on site they called me with a figure after doing an actual count of windows and measurement of gutters and I was satisfied as it was within reason of the baseline $$. Love these guys! And not just because they have great legs! Seriously, I've used Men in Kilts in both Calgary and the Okanagan and I have zero complaints. They've done windows inside and out at 4 different homes, from condos to large houses with massive windows and blinds. The rates are reasonable and the guys are always friendly, professional, respectful, fast, careful and do an incredible job every single time. They're worth every penny.
